Harvest & Curing Edible and trim

If my grow is being completely turned I to edible, do I need to trim it before drying/curing?
It would be awesome to just cut at base, hang to dry, Break up, Mason jars for curing then the jars into air tight bags for decarb in the sous vide.

Id just trim off all the fan leaves without trichs, leave the rest. Shouldnt take more than a few minutes per plant.

them fans are useless i would trim them as drew says

I employ that method without the cut and hang. I let 'em dry in the pot. K.I.S.S. Auto grower.
