Hi people, im looking into starting a space bucket soon, need someone with electrical knowledge here please to put my mind at ease and let me know if this is safe or not. I cant see why it wont be but at the same time it seems a lot going on in one place, anyway take a look at the stuff i will be plugging in, and let me know what you think please, dont want any fires or shortages stuff going on.

I will have a 4way surge protected extension socket:

Plugged into the 4way i will have:

1x Intake 12v 120mm pc fan, wired to a multi-voltage plug running at 9v, plugged into the 4way.

1x 4" inline exhaust fan, plugged into a fan controller, then plugged into the 4way.

1x 5050 5metre Warm White 300led strip, plugged into a plug timer, then plugged into the 4way.

So basically all this will be plugged into the 4way, then the 4way plug, plugged into the wall mains socket.

I have not much electrical knowledge, being a carpenter im just a wood guy...

So will this be okay?
..too much stuff on one block, massive fire risk etc, please advise with what i should do otherwise. Hopefully its all good[emoji846]

Any info ive left out or if ive explained it bad please just ask me guys, ive tried getting this info from loads of places but cant find specifics.

As long as the total amperage is less than the rating on the power strip you are fine. Maybe give yourself a 10% safety gap.

Just one question though. What are the LED strip lights for?

You're fine in terms of current (amps) draw.

Cool thanks, i was worried about overloading the strip because theres 'lots' going on on it but that wont matter no?

So all i need to watch out for it how many amps the strip can handle in terms of overloading.

Thanks man, amperage on the strip is 13Amp ill check the amperage on the rest of the stuff and add it up. I was worried because there will be lots going on on one strip thought it might cause overlod or a fire, or maybe just not all work properly because of all different things going on.

The led strips are because im going to be making a Space Bucket. You have the main light at the top of the bucket (in my case the 90w ufo led) shining down, but when the plant gets bigger and fills the canopy the light cant get down to lower parts of the plant, so stick the led strip spiralling round the side of the bucket say halfway down for extra light to lower parts of the plant.

I was always under the impression that led strips wouldn't do anything, but all the people who make these space buckets seem to swear by them, they either use Cool White for veg, or Warm White for flowering, or both, think it depends on how much room you got, majority seem to go for warm white.
