My girl is has been battling some serious deficiencies during flowering and probably only has a few days left before her yellowing starts to impact the buds. Most of her fan leaves have yellowed and wilted, now her sugars are starting to show some late stages of yellowing. Her trichomes are about half way cloudy. There's some amber of the trichomes on her sugars but only about half cloudy on the buds. She's not quite a peak yet but will probably harvest her before her sugars start to wilt and will be about 2 weeks early. What kind of effects will she have with half cloudy trichomes?

will probably have more of a head high opposed to a body effect

It's more likely to be lockout than deficiency. I'd give her a good flush and then a low dose of nutes and try to keep her going until she's ready. Early harvests make for racy buds.

It is, had been dealing with a lockout for a while and she's later in flowering so she's not taking up much nutes either. Did a flush yesterday and will try to hold out a little longer a few days to a week to try and get some more cloudy trichomes. I just have a feeling that her fading will spread to her sugar leaf now. :(

For me personally, I'd rather have the trichomes where I want them and not worry so much about the sugar leaves turning -- you're gonna cut those off anyway.

I had a similar issue during my first grow, pH issues. I opted to wait. I still had to pull early because of mold. Either way you go, you will want to really watch out during cure. With the leaves being dried out, there is nothing to protect your buds from drying out too fast. I tried hanging some, brown bagging some and put some in a shoebox but they all ended up super crispy and i killed the terps. I told myself that if it ever happened again, i would go straight to loose packed jars and skip the hang dry.

Good luck

Interesting, haven't even thought about impacts during the drying process. Maybe less dry time since there's less sugars on it but we'll see. Thanks for the heads up!
