New Grower Enough lights???

Evening all you lovely people.

Quick question.

I have a Gorilla shorty 3x3 tent with 5 plants in 7.5 litre pots.

Have I enough light in the tent with one Grownorthern HS1 and 2 Todogrowled TGL60's?

I'm setting up a 4x4 now, but can only afford a 200w cob diy at the moment, I'll place it off center to cover a 3x3 space till I can add additional lighting.

30 years ago, my first grow had 2 hps outdoor lights from home depot for a total of 180w. It grew weed, just not the kind you wanted seen by your friends! .

To clarify you have a total of 3 lamps correct?

Correct - 1 HS1 on one side of the 3x3 tent and 2 x TGL60s on the other.

Am seeing the the tgl 60s are cree 3070s pushed @ 55w. Those should cover about half your tent decently.

Me personally, I'd go for it... and maybe, if I thought I was a little underlit, on the other side, I might rotate the girls so they all get some good cob lighting.

I think 185 watts of led is plenty especially when 110 of it is cob. I would do the hs1 in between the 2 tgl60 2 huge plants or 3 medium sized would be my guess. But to answer your question yes, that is enough light for a 3x3

Think of the typical formula for LED. .5-1.5gr/pr/wt. So with mistakes maybe 90grams. No mistakes perfect grow 200g. Just a guess. I tend to run close to 1.25 as a avg per yearly.
