Hi!
Im kind of new in growing and help is needed!

Something about the setup:
2 strains, Starryder from DP and Auto Viking Blue from Norden Seeds,
in Autopots 15l with airdome and a 440l/h airpump.
Coco/Claypellets/perlite
200w CFL 2700k.
Greenhouse Powderfeeding for autos.

The plants are doing realy good today at 24 days. The branshing is out of this world. Shoots everywere!, so meny of them that ive thought about pruning.

Now to the question, Is it even possible to prun an AF and get away with it? I dont want to mess them up, better safe than sorry.

Topping autos generally isn't advised. All it really does is set them back a week or more while they recover and in my experience, doesn't increase yields.

Sorry to steal your thread but I had a similar question. I plan on doing a staggered harvest to let the lower branches finish up more. Once I harvest the tops I plan on defoliating them a little bit but after reading this I'm not sure if I should even stagger them. Would it hurt them to stagger my harvest? If not should I defoliate after I top them or just let the leaves fall off on their own?

I have tried a little pruning this grow and so far I am not that impressed. I don't think topping autos anytime is a good idea, they grow too fast and they need all their leaves in growth. In the bloom phase I have been pruning leaves that shaded the buds, so far the only difference I have seen is that the buds seem to mature quicker. If you want a stagered harvest plant every other week, go to a 24/0 light cycle. You will not get as good a yield but so far thats' all I have noted.

Thanks for the replys.
i just let them grow then. Its not worth messing with the ladys.

I also trim the leaves that cover the buds so the light can reach them.I find this helps a geat deal in the quality of the buds.
