Extraction Everclear to make dabs

Can I grind up some bud put in everclear and evaporate to make some dabs? I am just about out of bud got like 3 weeks till harvest and need some dabs. Dont smoke flower anymore just dab, I have like 2g of GSC left. It didnt press well as far as yield, and want to get more from my 2g. I figure it would extract everything so should be more final product. Not sure if that is true, but hoping so. Anyone try this, @archie gemmill I think I recall you putting isopropyl on grinder? What was end product from that, if it was you lol. I had some rosin overflow in my lift, I put EC in mixed around put on silicone containers to evaporate. Worked great, just need to limp across the finish line till I can press more.

i did have a lil league table of what effectively extracted what,polar/semi/non polar etc......but a lot of it is in theory and depends what or whos process.
bho is still king as far as returns go.99% iso is more effective than 99% eth both more effective than pressing flowers.dry ice/screen is the best and worst eg. a bud get completely pulverized stalk and all,so its niether hash nor dry sift,its just a bud in dust form.

I save my pucks, normally press only once then goes in container for edibles. I have been pressing 2x-3x lately due to low inventory lol. Only extract with everclear because I feel it's the least dangerous between bho, iso, everclear. Only 1 I could drink, so not as poisonous i figure hahaha. Not something i plan on doing much, but in a pinch necessity is the mother of invention! My new obsession is pure honey tincture, just honey no alcohol. I saw @Rebel posted mbm recipe and now must make it. I dont like consuming so much fat and dont like the alcohol, both are bad for your ticker! So this method has my attention. I just dont understand how the thc/cbd binds to honey kinda skeptical but have seen a ton of people on the internet say it works. I need to try it but need grow to finish. If anyone can explain how the honey extracts the goodies please let me know!

It doesn't is the bottom line. The alcohol extracts the goodness then the alcohol gets reduced/evaporated off. You are then left with the canna oil suspended in the honey. You have to stir or shake to keep it mixed, but the honey makes it palatable.

No, I understand the honey in alcohol works have some dont like the alcohol version still has alcohol in even if just small amount. I want to no how just putting bud, honey, and distilled water gets infused into my mbm will infuse? I have seen many people swear it works I just dont understand what the thc stick to in the honey? Dont want to waste bud again lol. Chech out rebels recipe its pinned. Not saying it works, questioning how before I try. But like I said a ton of folks say ot does??????

It doesn't stick, or a least not for me. You would need an emulsifier but I haven't found one yet lol

So, your telling me the honey only dont work? That's was what I thought should be the case. I was wondering about this stuff I have called licks. I mix equal parts with rosin to make vape juice. They say can be used as a tincture as well. Another way is to decarb bud gri d up mix on heat the strain. It's an extractor as well. I have strawberry flavor and not great taste to eat, but the have unflavored wondering if the flavor has a bad taste to it. Vape tastes fine but aftertaste when I licked off finger. May have been cause my finger was in my ear all day lol. No, but wonder if it was put in instead of distilled water would it extract into honey? I may have to email them, I asked Rebel how her recipe worked but haven't heard back yet. Would love to do it her way but not sure how it would work. I got a 50ml kit that came with syringe, juice, glass flask to mix in maybe something else for like $18 something US on Ebay. Just the juice is like $12ish so not a lot just dont want to have to ingest anything I dont have to. It is safe as I'm told but 20yr from now if they were wrong that dont do me no good then lol.

Let me tell you the honey tinc is the most potent I've made. Coconut Oil comes a close second. Very close. Lowest temp (130 F) and longest cook (8 hrs). "Low and Slow"

Just honey, NO ALCOHOL? Can you tell me why, or how the thc/cbd sticks to the honey? I dont mean to question you, but everything I've come apon says it either need to be extracted (alcohol, bho, iso, etc) or bind to a fat. I want it to be true because I dont like alcohol tincture not good for you. I have found quite a few people say it works but I have wasted bud plenty of time just dont want another to repeat that. If you cant I understand sometimes you dont know how, but it does lol. What role does the water play just to thin it out? I dont think I will be using coconut oil anymore, although many benefits from it saturated fat is off the charts. After looking into how its heart healthy I'm not sure it is. Even if it lowers my bad and raises good cholesterol it helps clog arteries to much. My cholesterol is really good so not sure its helping me there anyways. This is another big reason for the honey tincture. I have eaten horrible for to long so I dont need help clogging my arteries. Anyone using coconut oil should look into it. I read hearty healthy and thought nothing of it.
