What's up AFN.

I'm a seasoned but terrible grower. I found my green thumb about three years ago and have been intrigued with being able to grow my own medicine. I was a heavy, daily smoker about 8 years ago. I dealt with some bouts of anxiety so I gave up weed until about three years ago. My use is much less now than in the past. Back then I would consume about 3 grams of weed per day and it would be the strongest strains that I could get my hands on.

Now I prefer to use strains with a much lower thc content. I have been delving into the high cbd strains and have been pretty happy with the effects. If I smoke stronger bud, I consume less of it. One joint can last me all day.

You guys wish you had my tolerance.

I am a terrible grower but I love doing it. It has turned into an awesome hobby that allows me to grow hard to find, exotic strains that I like to check out. My yields always end up small and my plants always show some sign of deficiency or nutrient burn. I can't win. lol.

I'm hoping to find my flow and learn from the seasoned growers here. I would love to discover a SIMPLE nutrient regiment that will get me decent yields so that I can maintain my medicine. I will post a few pics of my sad miniaturized plants. I'm willing to sacrifice on size for easy.

Any good advice would be welcome!

Welcome to the AFN family..
Cant get any simpler than using Megacrop by greenleaf nutrients... Lots of people use it here with outstanding results , including me.

:welcome: Hi @Stroke and welcome to AFN! :welcome:

Your talk of small plants remind me of the stumpies I use to grow when I first got here! :hump:

Like @Padawan1972 mentioned, MegaCrop is good stuff, but I think the biggest thing I did was change to a coco coir grow medium! :coco: Now I regularly grow 1/2 pound plants in 3 gallon pots of coco mixed with perlite! :headbang:

Hello @Stroke and welcome to AFN. As for simple can't beat Megacrop as a nutrient. Start off at 2 grams per gallon and max I've gone is 4 grams per gallon in my setup.

Thanks for the welcome,

I've been doing some reading at afn before joining the site. I'm actually using megacrop and real growers recharge because I read alot about them in the forums, but I'm obviously using them wrong.

I'm not sure if it's a PH issue, or frequency of feedings, if it's because I mix them together, etc.

My plants look narly again. Lol.

Leave it to me to have plants that look like they have deficiencies and chem burn at the same time.

We are all here to help! Best thing to do st this point is to start a journal and tag some of us in it so that we can follow along. As problems/questions arise, we'll hash them out together! We've all been where you are so don't fret!
