Live Stoner Chat Family and pets around the grow?

My cat nibbled on white widow. She wants to but hasnt been allowed to nibble on my current grow yet as they are young and not in flower.
I havent grown catmint, but i have done catnip and catgrass. She liked both. Shes a spoiled lil girl. I guess she should be since shes named after one of the goddesses associated with cannabis. :-)

committing 1 crime to avoid commiting multiple crimes... is it ethical? is it moral?

My lad started asking questions at 14. Here's how it went...

Lad: What you doing?
Me: Just watering my tomatoes
L: That's not a tomato plant though
M: Oh yeah? What kind of plant is it then?
L: It's ganja innit?
M: Yeah it is mate, let's sit down a minute and talk about it though

I explained what it was and why I was growing it and the true reason it's illegal. Told him he can't tell anyone though and if he wants to learn or ever try it to speak to me first. I explained how drugs need dangerous chemicals added to them to get them to do what they do but this is just a plant that grows that way. He's asked loads of questions since and thinks it's cool but to this day, he doesn't smoke at all, drinks responsibly and is doing a stellar job in university. He's 18 now btw.

As for animals - Bonsai dog will eat the entire crop if I don't watch him so he's got his speck in the grow room where he sits and watches me do my thing but he's not allowed anywhere close to the tent and he knows it. Stoopid doggo ate a load of canna butter once and pulled a whitey so I don't really want to repeat that experience for either of us.

My kids are young so now I just tell them the same white lie except I grow Rose's and not tomatoes lol. They do get curious and ask to help but in my illegal state I think it's a bit too early. Maybe as teenagers when I know that they know more about it I will become more open but I'll deal with it when it comes. I dont plan to lie to them and I do want them to ask plenty of questions.

My cat and dog both know where the grow room is, the dog doesn't get up there much but when he does he knows not to enter my flower room just my work room. The cat I let wander into the garden, he likes to smell everything. I've never seen him nibble or even try to nibble on any plants so I dont mind when he chills with me.

I too sit with my door open just staring at my girls, sometimes I talk to them other times inlay music lol
