Hello Everyone :smoking:
So ive had a RAM Variispeed fan controller for a while now (cheap and cheerful) but i now need to change it out for a better one for 2 reasons...
1) My fan makes a humming noise when i turn the fan down low which was never a problem before but i need the sound gone now.
2) I had the controller on low the other day as my ladies are still young and im maintaining a humidity level of 60-70%, i returned home to find the sides of my tent sucked in and the fan on max! Basically the controller had failed and blew (Was hot to touch) and the fan was not being controlled and therefore blowing gale force 10 straight out my window! RIP optimal humidity level...
I am at work so ready to purchase a controller but cant do much research or browsing! Im looking at the SMSCOM mk2 controller which you can plug a thermometer thing into of you want it to be automatic! Will this hum when on low setting and more importantly will it blow? its €50 which seems reasonable as the bigger versions are €100+
I am just using a can Fan RK125L 350m3/h.
I dont understand electrics too well so i apologies if i come across a bit dense!
