Hi, I bought a RVK 5" fan for my 55x50x110 (cm) grow room.

How can I make it more silent?

Was thinking of fabricating a another box around it and stuffing it with sound deadening.

That would work or just wrap some fiberglass house insulation around it.

If you can suspend it with bungee cords too that helps. I saw some site where they put the fan in a cardboard box, mounted the ducting on either side and had a bungee coming out of the top. then they filled the box with spray foam. It seemed to work but might overheat your fan?
