I am taking the plunge & going SCROG on my next adventure.

As you can see in the picture I have a screen that fits my tent perfectly (240cm x 200cm x 120cm)

I plan on running 1 x NFT 901 under 2 x 600w HPS.

How many plants should i do? I'm thinking 4? Also, how long on average would the veg time be to fill that size screen? I will have a dialed environment as I run a controller too.

I would love it if someone could mentor me on the SCROG & training side of things. I have a good idea of what is required but I want to learn as i go & get it right first time!

How far apart or those holes? They like 2x2?

Check out my critical 2.0 grow in my signature. Its all about the continual tucking. Imo, it's really what makes the scrog go. When you tuck the main it realieases hormones that signal to the rest of the plant....shit we lost the top! Grow grow grow. I think by about 30-40 days that screen should be pretty well filled up. 5 plants can way fill up a 4x4 screen. But so can 4.

How big is that screen by the way? Hope that helps some.

Cheers dude. I think I will go with my gut & run 4.

The holes are 2.5 x 2.5. That was because when researching, I found a lot recommended 2x2 & just as many 3x3 so i went down the middle.

The screen literally fits the tent perfectly (see the dimensions in my original post)

Sounds super great. I really do think 4 will fill the shit out of that screen. Once the canopy blocks out the under growth and weak sucker branches conservatively trim them out so they don't suck out energy. I personally leave the fan leaves, though.

What is the best height to have the screen at? I read everything from 8"-12" & mine is currently at 12". I can remove some height if needed.

I rolled 5 under a 4x4 and filled her up nice and full. I put mine at 10 inches. Scrog with autos is tougher then photo's because if the lack of control flower wise but just constantly pull them to the next square as they grow tjrough the screen until they start to slow vertical growth then let them reach for those lights.

Thank you. I have gone with 4 & this time they're photo period rather than autos. 2 x liberty haze (The 25% THC & 1.8% CBD is too appealing!) & 2 kings kush. I might just knock 2 inches off the height & go down the middle of 8-12.

Fill it 3/4 ish then flip and you should be good. Its alot of work but it pays dividends
