Feeding Molasses do I or is it a waste of time

I'm on day 40 of flower now is it that good or just a gimmick

im no expert myself but we would need more info on your grow and pics never hurt
coco or soil
what nutes
what lights
etc .etc.

Love the molasses. I use it in both coco and peat grows. You pay almost nothing for it and it gives better results than any other over priced name brand snake oil in a bottle. Feed the Micro's !!!!!!!

Molasses molecule to large for the plant to take up, must be broken down by microbes first. Best used for making teas.

my second grow I used black strap molasses and powered kelp that’s was it and had no problems
This last grow I decided I would try nutes this time had loads of problems ,maybe it was just me

The last two weeks of flower the plant will stop sending carbohydrates to the roots to feed the soil biome. All of the energy is used by the plant to produce the flowers in an effort to reproduce. This is when you use molasses. It is to feed the soil microbes so they in turn will continue to make nutrients available to the plant. I even use it in hydro except DWC where there is no biome to speak of. Coco and rock wool will have a biome created by the roots during the grow. This is also a good time to use a little Recharge but don't go crazy with it. A little molasses goes a long way.

Yeah tea spoon to a gallon of water is a good starting point for molasses,I did a lot of reading about it before I used it,lot of the old school growers swear by it,well the black strap molasses but you have to be careful with the powdered kelp I over did it and one of
My plants leafs went krispy and died lol

So whthout carbohydrates meaning less energy, so If an easy source of carbs ie molasses brocken down provides the plant with energy to continue to grow flowers at a sustained rate then
