Indoor filter fan size led matter watts

instructions are wattage determines fan filter size. but seems odd if led are efficient. is my mind backwards like always. or should I find a room size calculation? thanks

I would go by room size calculation and by the CFM of the fan you are using.

Usually though, just match the size of your fan. So if your fan is 6inches then you get a 6inch carbon filter to match. But just double check the CFM on your fan and then match it with the carbon filters max/minimum CFM specifications.

Some need more suction power than others to run because they are longer in length or fatter in width. And vice versa.

Just be sure that your filter cfm is larger than the fan cfm.
