New Grower First AF Grow.. Jack Herer & White Widow

Hello. Here is my first AF grow. I am using the following:

Jack Herer AF & White Widow AF (from Greenhouse)
GL40 Grow Tent
300W LED from China (with dual switch for Veg & Flower, 175W actual draw when both are on)
Coco/Perlite 50:50 ratio (added a little dolomite lime & some epsom salt)
Advanced Nutes Connoisseur as my base & hobbyist bundle

Both seeds are in 4L pots.. started them with CFL lights under 18/6 and now put them under the LED. Been giving them ph'd RO water.. Germinated the seeds last Aug.13 & here they are now. When should i start giving them nutes? 2nd or 3rd week? also is my light okay? it was suppose to be used with a bigger tent but i opted for the GL40. Can you give too much light to a plant? Hope anyone can help out.

You can feed a 1/4 strength feed after week two than up the dose to half strength at four weeks.LED'S can burn plants if its too close so around two feet shouldbe fine but you have to experiment and see how your plant react to different heights.

Welcome to the sight man.. tidy wee set up that im a noob myself so cant give any advice other than maybe you may struggle height wise here.. if your tent is the one i googled at 3' 11" height then your girls will hit the roof most likely or close to it taking the height of your pots into consideration.. LST may help.. I may have googled the wrong tent of course lookin fine at the minute.. lots of growing goin on under the soil that light should be spot on in there too good luck with the grow..

namvet25: thank you sir, i shall introduce nutes after the 2nd week then. I just found out the Connoisseur are base nutes for Flowering. I wrote to Advanced Nutrients and they told me to get some Sensi for use during Vegetative growth. Won't be able to do that until this grow ends so i shall make do with the Connoisseur. I have adjusted the level of the light at 2 feet above the seedling as you have suggested. is the 300w an overkill for this tent? i ordered a hans panel 80w led for this set-up it should come in 2-3 weeks time.

hope2grow: thank you for your kind words.. i have prepared a screen for a scrog method to be able to control the height. will take some more pics soon. meanwhile here is an NFT set-up that i had custom made to fit the GL40 tent.. too bad it came at a later time so i will just use it on my next run. here is a picture

Thanks everyone.. anyone here have any good DIY design for an exhaust fan with a carbon scrubber? currently I am using a videoke exhaust fan( a big pc fan, 220v). any link would be appreciated. thanks again.
