Looks really good I had the same problem with my ph meter once it's all calibrated and water flushed through the pots the plants really took off!! Your going to have some monster buds on your hands brother

When I decided that pH was critical I bought a better meter but more importantly ( I think) was the purchase of calibration ang storage fluids. I store in the fluid for that and calibrate every two week or when I doubt the readings. I am a little obsessive but think it cheap insurance.
I know you'll have it all under control shortly!
And hey!! Digging on all the photographs, looks like I have some competition!!

thanks for the advice wwwillie, i have just bought some some calibration and cleaning fluid that will arrive Monday/Tuesday so i will now be cleaning and calibrating the meter more often.
and now that you mention the photographs, a little competition is always nice
(by the way, i saw you had your taste test! sound like you had a good time!)
i also have a 60x-100x hand held microscope coming, so i will be able to have a first look a my girl's trichomes. "pher Wiggle"
so finaly here is just one picture to hold you guys over till my main update in a couple days time. when im sure i will have questions about when to start the flush and ect. h

DAY 53! Getting close
hello fellow growers.
so I have arrived at day 53! so i am now into the final stretch for some of my lovely ladies.
not much to report as of now, i am still waiting for the handheld microscope to arrive so i can check the trichomes, that will hopefully be tomorrow. (fingers crossed). and just some general leaf yellowing but now that i know my PH is good, im sure its just down to old age.
i also increased the feed from 2ml to 3ml.
from the look of one of my plant, i think the water flush is soon upon me?

1/2 harvest 1 plant
so exciting news fellow growers!
i have harvest half of 1 plant. i finally got the microscope and checked the trichomes, it was mostly all cloudy with very very minimal amber showing.
i know i probably could have left the whole plant go a little longer. but in my defence, i have another 8 plants and this is just my first grow. so i though i should pick some buds now, while the trichomes are all cloudy so i can experience a early harvest. and probably harvest one plant late to see....
i only took the main cola and some other larger buds from the top, and i have left the smaller buds down low to try and fatten up under some much wanted light. since i may have packed in a few to many plants into one tent, therefore creating a thick canopy and affecting the lower bud sites. (lesson learnt: less plant in a small tent) or just a SCROG for next grow could be a solution
i also made a basic drying box. i did a quick search on-line and got the idea. so i am currently at day 2 of drying. My relative humidity is around 30% so from my research that should be around 4 days drying?
one thing i did notice, is that i probably left this plant a little to late to change over from veg nutes to flower nutes, because in comparison the buds of this plant are not even close to the size of my other plants. so another lesson learnt

Nice dry box. It's cool to see somebody harvesting only a portion of their plant to experiment with harvest times. I plan to do the same. Looking forward to hearing your take on the harvest timing / effects relationship.
