New Grower First Auto Grow (ak 47 & dutch cheese) Grow Journal

Big Momma Pic Update (moose victim) :)

Hey all..soo some of you may remember my outdoor lady that was ravaged by a moose up at my cottage. Well I harvested part of her last time I was up here and left about a third still going. Gonna give her the final chop tonight bit I figured id show off her huge sugar goodness b4 I did. I figure I got a hlf p off the first chop soo we shall see how this round goes. Her colas are soo big they are bent waaaay over! Lol anyway enjoy the bud porn. . CAM02098.jpgCAM02095.jpgCAM02105.jpgCAM02094.jpgCAM02101.jpgCAM02103.jpgCAM02092.jpg

Soo it appears ive got spider mites! Baaaaaaaah! It seems to be only the dutch cheese that is affected as well as my lil shot glass baby! As they are in flower I really didnt want to spray them with the safers soo I dipped a q tip in it and wiped down the leaves individually. I hope by doing it this way I'm also wipe'n off some of the eggs..I'm just hope'n they don't spread to my ak's....

If it were me I would put the affected plant in a bin bag and bin it. Spider mite is nasty and you don't want it sharing space with any other plants.
I know this sounds harsh but IMHO it is vital to clean everything out and dis-infect. This is a problem you want to erradicate completely.

Good luck Justin. eP.

i would go total cleaning tomorrow on the grow tent get everything out, spray all over the neem oil in the tent spray with the soap on the leafs wait 20 minutes spray water to get the residue out, then wait untill 30 minutes before lights off and spray all the plants with neem oil. is that a good idea guys?? what about feeding involve with spraying how should i handle that ? should i spray soap after i feed them?

the help is much appreciated guys thanks big love!

Thanks for the advice. ..I just can't bring myself to kill her as she has come sooo far. Maybe I will put her in my old grow cab under some cfls I have kicking round and keep an eye on her..this sux

Damn man, that really blows. Hope you're able to get it sorted. Whichever way you go I definitely suggest once everything you have now is gone not growing anything else until a very thorough cleaning is complete with zero signs of the zerg remaining. Good luck dude!

I just pulled everything out and scrubbed it down. I put the infected plant in my old grow cab that is in a diff room all together under 2 x 250watt 6400kal cfls. I know they r not the best for flowering but its what I got. I looked over my aks under normal light and they seem pest free..fingers crossed. I'm def gonna be praying to the bud gods for the next few days.

Mites.Suck.... So sorry to hear, jt.
Now, after all that hard work, you deserve a big old J of MooseSquash!! Them pics are lovely :) And, your harvest hill is a mountain! Righteous!
Ya they sure do...but its not my 1st time dealing with the lil bastards! Lol I'm pissed but not panicked..amd thanks the moosesquatch def takes the edge off.
