New Grower NugNoob's - First Grow Adventure! AK-47's

Hey Nugnoob, how old are the babies? No growth in a coupme days? Two things come to mind.
1) I think you should give them a good squirt, 250ml, or so, straight down the base. I don't think squeezing a paper towel is enough to get that tap root to shoot down the pot.
2) You may be misting to much. I used to mist but found letting them stay dry was better. I believe misting to often, slows down transpiration, which in turn, would slow down growth.

I could be wrong. You have an abundance of growers here, far more experienced than I. Just my thoughts.

I'm a sprayer, but I don't ph spray water. Don't want what I use to balance the ph to damage the leaves. And I'm sure 20 pages ahead, where the thread now is, this is completely irrelevant. LOL

Do you use the blue and orange cool-aid ph adjusters? Nectar for the gods is really good stuff.

Roger that, I got food grade DE (apparently people will straight up eat this stuff mixed in with water and such as a cleanse!) and thanks for the tip on the mask will definitely use one. Thanks!

Yeah I've eaten it in the past I give it to my dogs every so often as a wormer it'll get rid of all the parasites.

Haha yeah it's a little late...but I mean it's good to know. I hadn't thought of that. Yes I did pH the water in a 1 gallon jug then poured some into the 500ml hand mister. But that was like 12 days ago or more since I've sprayed them with anything besides Overgrow 2-3 times a week. Next grow I think I'll only spray them for 2-3 days when they are small and starting out.

Not sure if you're asking me or Witchy specifically or both. I myself use the GH UP and DOWN so yeah the kool-aid.

I've read it can be good for that, one reviewer on Amazon said they found little "things" when they took a trip to the bathroom after using the stuff. Will probably give it to my dog too! Though I'm kinda afraid to see what happens if I take it tbh lol

I use Botanicare's Ph Up and Ph Down. I'll check NOG, though. I hardly use anything on bloom mix, the nutes bring the Ph to around 6. Most the time, I only need to adjust the veg feed. Once I switch to Bloom nutes, everything kinda falls into place...

i wasnt the first that got it wrong i was just another person that got it wrong again and that sucked. so i'm sorry for triggering NN
