Indoor First Auto Grow - Help me decide which ones

Hey guys,
I am sorta new here so I figured I better get me a grow going on here! (not that I dont have some LOVELY photos going atm :twist: )

I have already made a selection of what I want to grow, but you get to choose which for this grow; I just got my beans in today. I posted a pic below of the strains: Think Different, Diesels, Purple Kush, Kalishnakova, and Auto Pounder mainly.

I REALLY want to do the think different. I have a couple of GH waterfarms and am thinking about getting a couple more and a blackstar 240 and testing that out. But I also have some coco (which I am more accustomed to). I have never used the waterfarms as of yet. Anyway this is the start post- I am super excited... Wish me luck!

DAY 1:


Well I couldn't wait. I planted all 4 of the ones I picked today in coco. I may move some to buckets and DWC them. May just do coco, or a mix. Any ideas are welcome thats for sure. Anyway - the strains are
Buddha Purple Kush x 2
GreenHouse Kalishnikova x 1
Dutch Passion Think Different x 1

This is my first auto grow. I was thinking about doing an LED setup for this, anyone have any ideas how much light I would need to produce a good yield? Like would a 240w Blackstar be enough? I will move them under a t5 setup soon. The only other option I have ATM is a 1000W HPS light (i really dont want to add another one to my electricity though).

The amount of lighting would be dependent upon the size of your grow space. Ideally, 100 actual watts per square foot is a good place to start. More is even better. IDK about LED's though. Im not sure if the rule is any different.

Annnnd catastrophe hit. Fungus gnat larvae may have killed 3 of them. They are currently struggling. So I planted 1 more think different and one more purple kush in rockwool...I used my soil from my photos not thinking and it was infested with larvae. THIS GROW SHALL CONTINUE THOUGH!
