I have two autofem purple express from freedom seeds.
One is in a 5 gal and the other a 3 gal.
Both planted in fafard 3b soiless mix. Its made up of Canadian sphagnum peat moss, volcanic ash, bark, perlite, vermiculite, and dolomite lime.

They are both 3 weeks old. Showed sex a week ago. Positive one has started flowering two days ago. They did get nutes burned 4 days ago though.

I haven't even started nutrients and they are nutes burned so when should I start nutrients and now that one is flowering should I just start with flowering nutes or veg?

Keep with the veg for sure, when you start. You didn't use any nutes but they still got burned? Like from the soil? That could actually be a PH issue over nutes in the soil. Could be nutrient lockout. I grow in hydro so I am no soil expert by any means but if your soil is doing that to the plants this early I wouldn't use it again.

All that being said you traditionally want to keep the feed on the Veg side until the fast growth spurt / stretch is over and the flowering really kicks in...

I hope they revive for you!!! I have never heard of the strain, excited to see what it turns out like :) Best of luck friend!!

Edit: I guess it couldn't be nutrient lockout if you didn't fertilize... Our friend Mr. Logic seems to leave me at times ;)

:Sharing One:as nben say as im not a soil grower and you not use and fert i would put this down to PH being lock out, some well put you right soon, this why i went to coco :Sharing One:Peace Kudo.jpg

Update day 24 - day 5 flowering

The first two pics She is flowering very nicely, nice amount of trichomes, few pistils, and a nice dark purple color.

The third pics, Now this girl is starting to look up a little bit

Now my question is since they were nute burned already, should I even start using nutes? I haven't yet the soil was just too hot.

And lastly my photo plant. Starting to look a lot better. And I got it ghetto LST'd because I couldn't find tape and this pot is like a ceramic material so I couldn't drill a hole.
I took an apple juice jug and two water bottles and filled them with dirt, I took a twisty tie and tied it around the plant, I then took a piece of fabric and put it under the cap and screwed them on. . its really ghetto rigged but it weighs them down and works!

I really wish I knew what to do with that plant... Hopefully somebody with soil knowledge can chime in.

Veg them with ph'd water until vertical growth stops. Even if there are some pre flowers, let them go until they stop stretchig. When that happens, hit them at 1/4 strength flower nutes. I have never grown in your soilless mix, but if it continues, I woould run about 3 times the pot size through them to get rid of some of the nutrients in the medium.

Okay thanks. I do have a question I just got some minerals (azomite, greensand) could I amend that into my soil? Also I have a buffaloam compost tea 1-1-1 would it be beneficial if I added that to my soil also?
