New Grower First Autoflower grow and first time DWC - HELP PLEASE!

Day 21 - Res Change

Both plants still on veg nutes. TD is at a ppm of around 600 and PF is at a ppm of around 410 coz the ppm kept rising after the last res change.

Both plants we're also given 15ml rhizotonic.

I'm pretty sure i've been labelling the pics wrong on here the whole time lol xD

Both plants leaves are curling and if i'm right this is due to heat stress but i'm not sure how to correct this without having to spend more money ? :/

Also the TD has a few brown spots on some lower fan leaves that i think is some sort of nute problem but nothing major i dont think. Could someone please shed some light on my situation as i know the plants are now in rapid growth and are gunna go into it even more so im scared that the slightest little problems are going to have big effects on my girls.

Here are the pics (sorry they're not good pictures, i don't have a good camera so i have to use my iphone) :

Looks good to me. Roots aren't slimy or brown so that's a huge plus. In hydro when the res gets warm roots take a big beating. The leaves do look a little heat stressed but in the long run if they're still growing it's just something you want to keep an eye on. If they start turning yellow, looking crispy or burnt, then you have to start making changes.

could someone tell me what problem my plant has please? Think different seems to be suffering from something a bit.. :/

On the plus side i now have a 60L per min pump that will be used for both plants when ive bought the right airline connector and i got new ceramic air stones that seem to be doing a lot better than the bubble disks i had that were floating lol

Is that from the bottom or the top? Looks like either heat stress or lockout of some sort. I would check the PH and make sure everything is fine there (make sure your PH pen is calibrated) and then check the temps. Nutrient lockout seems to present from the bottom up and heat stress seems to present from the top down, in my experience anyway... Best of luck to you!

That's on the bottom leaves my friend. I'll calibrate the ph meter and check the ph as soon as i can.. Thanks as always nben!

No problem! I have had some hydro disasters! They seem to creep up slowly at first and then explode. You still have time to figure it out though. And on the bright side as soon as the situation is corrected they seem to heal up just as fast!

Dont know if there is, but be cool if there was a tri meter that send you a txt msg or something when your PH or ppm or even temp got too high for hydro =/

great idea Sauce! I've been trying to teach myself Python programming solely to be able to create automated hydroponics. I see this as a wave of the future since cannabis is becoming more and more accepted everywhere. If the damn feds would get on board it would be really awesome!

I think it would save a lot of heart breaks and that wonder feeling while you are at work heh. I am starting to learn hydro my self (reading before trying) They say when if you make a mistake or something goes wrong it can happen very quick.

And good luck. Python is pretty old, but still does the trick :)

Haha if only eh sauce! I calibrated the meter and checked the ph and it was 5.9 so I brought it down to 5.8 and added some more ph'd water coz it looked like the girl could use more to drink and the ppm rose again.

Did the same for the power flower except that had a ph of 6.5!! Howcome the power flower doesn't seem to have any problems? Is it because it's closer to being a neutral ph eg 7.0?
