Sorry about the lack of updates guys! I'm visiting family for the Easter holidays. I was nervous about leaving the plants alone but they seem to have got on just fine, especially the power flower!
I reset the ph to 5.6 in each bucket and added some more root stim and formulex.

Today was Day 9 from them being put into their buckets. Lemme know what you think! :)

Looks great! After those roots get larger and hit the nutes the growth really explodes! You will notice it in another week or so!

Thanks man! The root coming from the power flower is already sitting nicely in the res so im expecting that to maybe take off earlier than the think different but i dunno lol.

I'm still unsure whether to switch to the 250w hps when they start to explode because im scared it might be too hot for them in the tent.

I leave mine under the fluorescent light until the fast growth has stopped then switch. I know what you mean about the heat. I thought it would be great to have an HPS and went ahead and bought one. I am going to grow my Auto Blueberry under my old LED in the closet. They throw alot of heat!!

These are my observations and methods however, there may be other more informed people who can chime in...

just monitor the temps closely bro if u can keep things under 85 degrees id say it will probaly be alright, i also grow in a tent and actually start under a 600w HPS from day 1 :Sharing One:

Subbed in for this. Going to try DWC at some point. Best of luck man.

What watt is your LED? (Lol 'what watt') Mines only 125w.

I take it you mean 85 degrees Fahrenheit, not Celsius?

All I have is a 135 watt Blackstar. I get decent yields out of it, for me. I only grow one plant at a time and literally I am the only one that uses any of the finished product.

I keep my plants small though. While they are in veg stage I keep the fluorescent light literally an inch or two away. This stops stretch in it's tracks. Then after the growth spurt stops all upward growth is bud sites, which get bathed in LED.

I guess for me the hobby is more about experimenting and creating the best quality you can get, not the quantity. I just don't have the time to vaporize all the time anymore haha!

I have taught myself with the aid of a very helpful member of this forum, Bob Bitchin, how to make fem pollen and make seeds from fem plants. I love learning the botany side of it :)
