that RQS northen lights looks really good never really rated that seed bank much allways thought they were just ripping off other companies but this is the 3rd nice example of a NL there a guy on youtube grew one yileded 16oz one plant had crazy airy buds but wouled be great for hash or oil

Never considered RQS as a top seedbank, but a pretty decent one for sure . As far as this NL in my tent is concerned, she has super hard and dense buds now and will be a really good yielder I think. All of the buds are frosted and sticky, so we just need to see how she smokes :smoking:. A grobro of mine has 3 of them running in his tent now and they are all similar to mine, seems like a nice strain, we'll see.

That grobro has grown RQS photo-period strain Special Queen and he says that it is some fire weed. I've read similar stuff about Special Queen on the internet, so there you go, all the information I have about RQS.

Actually, not all. I've grown their Royal Haze in my first grow and it's OK, nothing to write home about .

DAY 74

Haven't updated this thread in a week, we got some catching up to do . Girls got their last top feed 2 days ago - 10 mL of Bio PK per L of water as a final push for buds. It's only water from now on. GBOG 2 has around 5% amber trichs and is going down tomorrow, took her off the water supply .

DAY 75

GBOG 2 was harvested at maybe 5% amber . The buds are encrusted in crystals and put out a creamy fruity dankalicious smell :drool:. Around 20% of the buds are popcorn, but mind you, I'm using that term pretty lighthearted, this isn't your everyday popcorn.
Three plants left now and only GBOG 1 is showing real signs of amber, she's been cut off from the water, gonna cut her down next update .
GBOG 2 was neatly trimmed and all buds are drying in paper bags now.

DAY 77
Another plant was cut down 2 days after GBOG 2 and the lady in question is GBOG1 . Mostly cloudy trichs with just a pinch of amber. She was a beautiful lady that had a nice structure with many colas. The highest cola stood at 105 cm, while the rest ranged from 90 to 95 cm. Buds are sticky icky but the rest of the plants isn't as frosted as GBOG 2 and this phenotype has a distinctive glue smell, while GBOG 2 is berries cream. All in all a great plant, enjoy the pictures :













Once I harvested the girls up front I got to really appreciate the two girls in the back, GBOG 3 and NL. They are very BIG girls, sporting some monster colas . Really excited what's gonna turn out with these two, think they are gonna give a huge yield, still no amber. Plan is to harvest them this weekend because I have some sort of a deadline, but we'll see . Anyways, on to some more pics.

DAY 81

Part one: GBOG 3 harvest

Last of the Glueberries, the freak of this grow that turned out to be a monster . Almost no signs of amber and the colas could be called airy compared to the first two GBOG's, but still the largest by far. This tells me that she should've been left another ~2 weeks, but couldn't do that unfortunately .
This one smelled of berries the most and was the greasiest plant to trim, a real pain in the ass, got sticky all over :smoking:.
Enough bullshit , on to the pics - the plant before trimming, the biggest colas after trim and a bud shot:











Part two: Last, but not least

NL is the last girls standing and she's a fatty . She also wouldn't mind going another 2 weeks, no amber whatsoever and she seems to be bulking up daily. Unfortunately, she will be cut down in the next update, which is one day apart . The NL turned out to be a better plant than I expected, with a lot of side branching and fat, resinous colas .

She loves the tent all to herself, at least for a day :

Coco + perlite with the Biotabs nutrient line. Put all of that in Autopots and voila :smoking:.
