Making a grow journal for two plants. One will be grown with Lotus nutrients and the other with GH Flora Series. Both will be grown in 3 gallon pots with coco. One will receive lotus and the other will receive the GH series.

Megacrop 1 part works pretty well. I use it most of the time. I use promix organic or moisture control (Walmart). Watch ph as promix is peat based. Start at 1/4 strength… .25gpg grams per gallon and up the feed from there. I have never gone over 3.5gpg for autos. Photoperiod can handle the 6 gpg in flower. And welcome, don’t think I’ve seen you before… I joined in 2017, I see you were 2014. You could welcome me! lol!

Thank you for the information. I created an account a long time ago, I haven’t been growing for that long. I have been using the Gaia green in coco method. I got really tired of using this method because it’s extremely boring. I want a more hands on approach. I want to hand water and control everything about the grow.

Welcome to autoflower. Org. Lol

Day 3 of the seedling stage . Both got a taste of nutrients today. I am following the coco for cannabis feeding chart.

Just a quick update. I have fully saturated each pot with about 20 percent runoff the past couple of days. Each plant is getting roughly 400 ppm each. The growth has really picked up since I started watering until runoff. The temperature in my 3x3 tent is hovering around 75 lights on and 68 lights off. The RH is around 62 to 65. My grow light is running at 50 percent power. PH going in is at 6.2 and PH runoff is 5.8 to 5.9.

Week one update: So far everything is going well. Growth is really starting to pick up especially on one the plants. Going to increase the ppm/ec for week 2. RH of the tent is steady at 60 percent. PH of water going in is at 6.1 and the runoff is 6.2. Going to drop it a point for week 2. I am feeding until 20 percent of runoff each morning. Not sure when I should start watering twice a day. I noticed that rapid start drops the ph of the nutrient solution way down. I may stop using it and find a replacement that doesn’t kill the ph. Light intensity is still at 50 percent. Thanks for looking. Any advice is welcome. Take care.

Mid week update: Growth has really exploded when the autos went into veg. The girls are only 11 days since they popped through the coco. So far it’s been really smooth. Still only feeding once a day with about 20 to 30 percent runoff. PPM of the runoff is around 550 and the ph coming out is at 6.1. Going to drop the PH to 5.9 to 6.0 once they hit two weeks old. I am following the feeding schedule laid out by Coco For Cannabis. Thanks for looking. Will update at 2 weeks.

Looking good. Don't worry about the runoff pH. It can and will be affected by the plant itself. Chasing that will lead to your fertigation pH being way off. Just input at the right pH, 5.8-6.2, and you should be good.

You can track runoff volume to know when to increase your watering frequency. If you put 1 liter in and get 200ml of runoff, everything is good. Yeah? So if you put 1L and get less you can add more volume then or add a second watering session later.

Check the runoff ppm against your feed strength.

If runoff ppm is higher add more volume

If runoff ppm is lower increase strength.

Runoff can be slightly higher than feed strength, but like 200ppm not 1000.
