Right guys so though I would fire my tent up today and do some checks to make sure everything was alright left it running for full 24 hours and temps sitting at 32 light on 18/6 any ideas why this is had the vents open standing fan on number three my temperature gauge is hanging in the middle of the tent about 3/4 the way down from room light is all the way up at the top of the adjustable hangers as no plants in yet cheers for the help in advance @Ripper @Cat @Dwang @2Stoned2Care

You want to be able to run it with out the vents open.. The best way to do that is have an extraction fan and have it suck out the warm air from the top and have a duct on the bottom sucking in cooler air

Aww right mate I have carbon filter and fan sucking the hot air out and putting it directly outside mate so basically I need a air intake sucking air from my house inside the tent buddy cheers

Welcome to AFN @NathanBudz you are among friends and autoflowering cannabis enthusiasts. @Ripper is 100% correct(as usual) and you need to get some cold air comin in the bottom and you should see a pretty drastic drop in temps. As stated above any questions don't hesitate to ask away!

I ran my tent before planting seeds, but discovered the temps and humidity are higher when there are plants in there. I have the back vent open in my tent because it was too hot when closed. The extraction/carbon filter seems strong enough to create negative pressure inside the tent, so I don't have any smell leaks, although that might change when in full flower. I have a small intake pocket fan sucking air in, but find it makes little difference if temps outside are warm. Initially, my temps were always 30-31F, but I bought a much better (and cheaper) carbon fan and it maintains temps bellow 27/28. During veg, I believe temps should be within 20-30oC (70-85F). Flower 18-26C (65-80F). Humidity during veg 40-70% and flower 40-50%. My plants are in early flower and before the new fan, humidity was sitting at around 60-65%, but I believe you can get by with this as long as there are plenty of fans blowing air around. With the new fan, humidity sits below 50%. Maybe some of the more experienced growers will have a different idea

During flower the lower you can get your humidity the better.. As for temps I do not know the breakdown to C but I prefer 75 to 78.. I use one of these with my intake fan.. It starts and stops it for me..
