New Grower First Ever Grow Think Different (Nearly Finished!)

Just a quick update. A few days into flushing now and all looks good so far. I spent nearly 3 hours last night tying up buds that the plant just can't support. One bud had actually snapped its stem :/ I've learnt my lesson and will tie them up earlier next time around

All cropped and hung. Going to grow the 2 30l pots out on their own with a 600w light each then start a fresh 8 when they're done

Cheers Steffen 8's too many for what? The space? If I do 8 they'll be in 15l pots. Not 30s

Yup.. It looks like you ran out of space .. I would go with 6 in 30L pots. But fuck it.. Your plants looks good. Are you running 18/6 light schedule on them or 12/12 ?

But I dont think it is a good idea to dry them in your grow room, to much heat and light in there. Try to get them buds to a dark and cool place for drying. Or else your smoke can suffer.

Seconded on not drying in a lighted grow space. The light degrades the THC and the heat will dry them to a crisp. You want the drying process to take about 5 days ideally. You can take a cardboard box and run string in the opening and hang the branches from it, then cover with a bigger box, or any number of other methods. Me personally I got those hanging drying nets, didn't like how fast they dried the bud and stuck one in a big rubbermaid container and that works out to about a 5 day dry period.

Very nice buds Spoon. Paper bags a supposed to work good for a slow dry. Lots of good tips for drying and curing on this site. Just think, only another 3-4 weeks left for dry and cure. Good luck resisting the temptation!

Thanks for the kind comments guys. I'm really please with how i've done so far. I was going to dry them in the tent with no lights but I was gave the second 2 plants in the photo and the 30l pots for nothing.. Couldn't say no. They have to be kept in the tent for smells sake unfortunately. They've been hung about 3 days and still aren't completely dry. I do have some odd buds on the floor sat on and covered with newspaper too keep direct light off. They're seem to be drying a bit slower.. so i'll compare the two smokes when they're all finished.

And Duckster, resisting temptation??? I never resisted anything.. I chopped samples off a good week before I even harvested :/ my bad
