Hellow hellow!

First time auto grower here. Have some experience with photo periodic strains from way back (10+ years) and after such a long break, noticing how much auto's have advanced and gotten better I couldn't any longer fight the urge and so I set up my very own grow room and started a project. Long overdue though...

Without further ado; my little project:
PS. Due to my 'slow mindlessness' I didn't start taking pics until the day 17, so that's that.

2 Super Skunk auto's from Sensi Seeds (I purchased 3 and I'm saving one for later)
Very small grow room (a small closet): 1 meter high (40 inch), 60 cm deep (23,6 inch), 50 cm wide (approx 20 inch)
250w HPS (dual spectrum I believe)
Plagron lightmix soil
Biobizz Bloom
2 x 9 litre pots (2,4 gallons)
a very general plant nutrient with npk of 5-5-5 (I only used this from weeks 2 - 4 and in small amounts) and I'm currently on day 33 and have given bloom twice (half of the amount said on the bottle).
(EDIT) They've been on 18/6 since they sprouted. Which happened exactly on the 1st of October and I planted them directly in their finishing pots.

My grow room is located in a storage room. One of the walls is very thin and lets in cold air (which also means fresh air :) ) And I've noticed that this works out swell, so far! Initially I was very concerned the room would be too cold but the 250w HPS gives just the right amount of heat to keep this room and the closet in manageable levels. In the closet the max temp when light on; approx 85f/29c. Lowest during lights off; approx 59f/15c. Depends totally how cold/warm the weather gets. I have one regular table stand fan, which seems to be efficient enough to keep the air moving inside the closet. It's basically an intake fan only. Because I do not have any visitors (almost never) I have no issues with having the closet 'door' open a little. It's only a dark greenish thick curtain actually that I've installed as a door so I can lift that a little from the bottom, in order to let the air come out from the bottom.

Anyhoo, here are some pics; would love to hear some thoughts and your two cents :)

First I decided that I do some LSTing on one of them girls and leave the other grow freely, but realized today I will need to start tying down the other one as well. Starting to get too close to the lamp. Just a side-note :)

I also have 2 seeds (from bagseed) growing with them. Just for company :) Hopefully they'll be girls too.

Peace y'all!

Looking good man! I'm in the same boat as you, took a 5 year break and it's a total mindfuck how far auto's have come. But good luck with grow! keep posting updates:smokebuds:

Hiya there! Mindfuck hell yes. I'm seriously thinking of sticking with auto's from now on. Ok harvesting is not done yet so the end result MIGHT change my mind about that
but if speaking of growing and how easy it has been, so far me likey :D:

Saw you are new to the site just like me. And/Or maybe you were stalking this site long before joining, just like me  hahaha!
I would like to see your grow also once you get it on. Read lots of good things about Think Different. They're actually on my shopping list.
Have a great start for your grow man and all the best!

Hey there! (This must be my 4th time posting this as I keep effin up the pictures :( shouldn't wake and bake and do this right away...)

Day 41.
Here's the latest: I've haven't fed them with bloom now for the last three times, just ph'ed water. I'm giving 2 feedings bloom and then 2 - 3 feedings plain water. Not really sure if that's a good schedule but the girls seem to be taking it well. One leaf only shows little tip burn. Otherwise they seem to be doing swell I think. Some drooping has occurred, but after feeding within few hours they cheer up always. They getting bigger and thirstier every day!!

Take care everyone!:bong:

What could this be? This is only on few leaves on this plant. The other is fine and they were fed the exact same amounts of nutes.

Update

The girls seem to be doing fine :)

Humidity has been since the beginning min 30, max 70. Nowadays since it's much colder weather it's in the range of 35-60. I was worried in the beginning in seedling stage that the closet is too dry when lamp is on but in my opinion it didn't hurt them plants at all. I sprayed the leafs occasionally.

Only one leaf on each plant has shown signs of, in my opinion, a clear sign of nute burn. Other than that, they've adapted to the bloom feed very nicely. :High 5:

The one I lst'ed earlier did respond to it rather well I think. The buds are denser and it also keeps on getting denser faster than the taller one (which i expected to be actually the "early bird" but I'm not sure anymore...). Fyi - These pics are only of this one I lst'ed early on.

Cheers n beers!

:Coolio: Looks like you are cooking with gas now, I can't wait
for my current grow to get to that stage.
