My girls have grown a lot since the transfer a few days ago! Got roots 8" long hanging out of the pot already. Taking some pics. Hopefully I can get them posted before I lose my internet for a few days......this fixed income crap sucks!!

Looks like I get to post pics lol! feb4-pic1.jpgfeb4-pic2.jpgfeb4-pic3.jpg

Squirrels are for breakfast

Oooohh YUM! Leftover squirrel and dumplings with home-slung biscuits to sop the gravy!!!!!

UPDATE: New pics

2/7/2014

Temp: 73
RH: 42
Res Temp: 70
PH: 5.7
PPMs: 364

I can't believe how much they have grown in just three days! The leaves have gotten bigger by at least 3" across, and they are 2" taller. Looking pretty healthy to me! I changed the res today, I keep a second tote that I filled 2 days ago with tap water and let the chlorine evaporate. PH'd it and added nutes today, then just moved the lid to the fresh tank. Emptied the first tank and moved it to center under the light. I lowered the light 4 inches and turned it up to 75% power. I'm really happy with this DWC so far! If I can keep them healthy, I should have some awesome girls come harvest time! :dance2:

WooHoo, catching the fever now!! They're looking great that's for sure!
I like the DWC thing too. I do believe that I will go that way eventually, but sticking to dirt for now.

So squirrels eh? What to you take them with if I might ask? Me, I use a .22 air rifle, tuned to a T, 1/2 inch group at 25 yards.

I'm a big air rifle fan too! Sold all my powder burners but one, too expensive to shoot! Right now, I'm using a Hatsan BT65-B in .25. I have several others including a very highly customized Crosman.

Sweet!
Mine is a Mike Melick tuned QB-79 with a nice Leapers UTG 4-16x50 on it. Don't recall exactly but somehow recall 700fps and man is it ever a tack driver. Way cool, another shared interest with another AFN family mate!!

Oh Shit! Here we go! I'm getting ready to buy one myself in .22. Didn't want a break-barrel due to eventual droop so was going with an under-lever, possibly with a nitro-piston upgrade. i've got a bit of the prepper mentality, but the one thing nobody thinks about is; What happens when all the powder ammo is gone? Hence, the air rifle and .22 ball lead molds!
Willie, what did you pay for that tuned QB, if you don't mind my asking?
Pop, how do you like the Hatsan? I've heard some good things about them.

No worries Tx, I bought it from Mike himself at Flying Dragon with a super tune, I think I paid $170.00 An exception piece of kit for sure. Also have a Ruger Blackhawk from Mike. Too hard to shoot but I like the fact that it does not require CO2.
