New Grower First grow! A journey of learning and hope

No worries, like everyone said, just tape it up and you should be fine. Don't be discouraged if the leaves get a bit beaten up above the snap, that's normal, it will still heal. I tried to supercrop my Blue AutoMazar's main stem and instead snapped it about 90% through. Took a bit to recover, but the rest of the plant kept growing as it healed.

Man these plants are tough! All I did was stand it back up carefully, so the the sections met correctly and lean a stick against her to keep it from falling over. I can see the healing and other than upward growth having stopped, it looks fine. I snapped it 75%....!!!! Incredible!

hehe, those plants are called weed for some reason:) heres my autoxtreme after i broken her steam when was doing some lst on her.:)

Getting my grow room ready for stage 2. I prepped the second tote by installing 6 5" net pots into the lid. The green totes are 18 gallon. The one with the single 10" net pots has about 12-13 gallons in it to keep the water just below the pot. The second res will hold about 14 gallons. I added a third res, 22 gallon that I will fill with fresh tap water that needs to dechlorinate. I'm considering eventually converting all this to a recirculating system ( RDWC ). I have a 500gph pump that I'll be using to empty and fill the various reservoirs, no more hauling 5 gallon buckets! I'm going to RDWC because it will make res temp control easier. It will also keep the ph and ppms stable over a longer period. I've found some info on building your own res chiller. I'll share that when I've checked it out thoroughly. I'll complete the sidewall and install a ventilation system in March. Right now its fairly easy to control temps with the room open like this, I just keep a fan in the doorway. its enough to stir the plants also. I know smell is soon to be an issue, but I needed to complete the other things in here, ie, more air pumps, the submersible pump, wiring, etc. This is to be a long term grow room with several upgrades in quality and equipment. have to spread out the budget though....lol!

I live out of town, neighbors are about 500' to either side, and they don't associate lol. I am planning on odor control, just this month's budget is exhausted lol. but I just close the door if I have company, not that any of them would mind. I'll be walling off a 4x7 area next month and adding a fan and filter
