:smoke:***Im usin' 3 gallons; Read the soil/wen the top of soil is dry 2" down, its a good tym to water/ add till you get a little runnoff & then add ur nutes(1/4 strength to start and gradually increase thru-out the grow). I had distance from tops @ 26" for the first 2 wks under the hps also w/cfls on top of em basically/then a foot or so from my 400w, which it'll be a little farther w/a 600w. Just look stuff up and ask on this forum, there is alot of knowledge and good (personal) techniques that show and prove to be truly affective. I'll be checkn' in on ya, see how things are growin'!

dank, when the baby's are that size dont spray them so much......water at base of seedling with two to three tablespoons of water.:buds:

Your seedling is up and established now, so no need for further misting. Your tap root is probably at least 3-4" long, if not longer by now so it's taking water from lower in the soil than the misting is going to penetrate.

Hey muddy do you think I should start watering normally? How about nutes? Or should I wait till her she grows a little more I went with the ffof and hf 50/50 mix and dug out the middle and filled it in with pro mix as you recommended to me. Should I wait at least another week before adding veg nutes so she can plant her roots in the mix?

as the seedling gets bigger, add more and more water, as muddy says the tap root is longer than what you see above the soil so when you water at the base of the plant, the tap root is directly under the center of the plant so pour enough water for it to drain down the same path the tap root has taken.:2cents: in a week you will be adding to the whole pot and increase water accordingly. ...........no nutes yet wait till at least the second set of true leaves are deployed, then go easy! until you have a feel of what they can take. small dose of nutes at first :booya:the baby's are looking good!

The nutes in your Fox Farms soil mix should be enough for 3-4 weeks.

hey dank instead of sending private messeges to ask questions, it is much better to ask them here, because you will have more response to your question!:D in regards to bugs, yes you should be concerned! first thing is to identify the insect, if you can see it with the naked eye, then it is not spider mites, you said they were black and digging in the soil, are there any flying around? you saw them on leaves? if they are flying sounds like fungus gnats! your going to have to identify them before we can tell you what t o do. lets hope it is fungus gnats! they are easy to get rid of:smokebuds:
