The small spec I saw on the leaf I concluded it was prolly a spec of dirt. The other sucker was on the border of the pot seemed to have a wing but was small. Didn't get a really good look as the sucker hid himself. Will keep my eye out..
OK well while I was going to give the first true watering today noticed a white small flying bug as well as some light green spots in my soil.. what is this and should I go ahead and still water it or should I treat it first?
ya could be algae, mold sometimes will sprout, thats a white fuzz, do you have air moving across your soil and plants from an inside fan? keep an eye on those insects.
Yes astro it was light green algae.. covered it with layer of soil. As for the white bug I inspected the plant today and only saw to what seems to be a white insect very small. Haven't seen 1 since. Also to answer your question yes, I do have a intake fan blowing across it and a exhaust on top it opposite side. Temps are at 78 degs.. thanks
cool! the only thing that can cause algae and mold is usually wet soil, or it was contaminated to start i keep a tower fan blowing on soil and plants 20hrs aday to keep the plants strong and to dry out the top surface of the soil!
Ok well last night was her first full watering and my accident when watering one of her leaves submerged into the soil. When trying to clean her off I accidentally tore her leaf up little.. Hope it doesn't affect her but she is growing quick.
