Hi guys ive been looking in a lot but not joined or posted. I've been growing three Afghan Kush Ryders all from the same seed bank (WOS). Isnt it strange the 3 seeds from the same place can be so different? One plant is a mutant and is 1 metre tall and the others are quite short and squat.

welcome anb!! If you haven't done so, please swing by the intro thread and say hello. Welcome to AFN!! You are right, all strains have a few pheno types and are unique in their own way. Kind of like 2 parrents having 2 kids, even twins, look a bit alike, but different in so many ways!! welcome to the BEST canna place on the web!!

Oh should maybe list my set up for whats been an indoor grow, im on day 70 now:

Medium: Soil: The soil is just bog standard stuff and its been an organic grow.

Strain: AKR

Method: Germinated using paper towel method then put seeds in pots once the roots were about an inch long. (not sure how big the pots are in gallons).

Lighting: Only natural light until the leaves started to show, then stuck them under a 400HPS which was set high in the grow tent.

Nutes: Just started with Biobizz Grow for maybe 2 weeks then a mixture of grow (about 1-2ml) and Bloom (about 4ml) at each water. Just used plain old tap water and no PH monitoring. This was probably a mistake from the further reading ive done but I just wanted to start a very basic grow and take it from there in the future.

Oh and thanks a lot Briman :)

OK cool Briman ill try and get some. Its not the best grow in the world but some friends had warned me to steer clear of autos but I have to say they were wrong. As I didnt even expect to get this far it shows that they are a great type of seed for beginners and also that the AKR is quite resilient as Ive made every newby mistake known to man lol

Taken from a phone so poor quality. 1.jpg3.jpg2.jpg4.jpg5.jpg

I know that its always best to go on the colour of the Trichs rather than the pistils. I've read some reports that these plants just keep sprouting new white pistils for the duration of the grow and that they dont recede as much as other strains? The trichs are mostly all cloudy with a few starting to turn amber at the edges of the bud leaves. Almost ready for the chop :D
