I cant help it, there is that voice in my head that says if I don't post in a methodical manner then the universe will explode. I also believe that no matter how new I might be to growing these Auto plants, if I document everything in great detail the will be someone that could possibly learn from what I do.
I have thought of a few things last night. I COULD make a 'ghetto air-conditioner' using the old fridge I do have but I do not really want to risk contaminants invading my tent. I am confident in my abilities but when you start messing with gasses you can't be too careful with the ladies. Insulating all the corrugated iron to keep some of the heat at bay is also an option, its hard work BUT an option. I have a unit here that is complete air control, humidifier, de humidifier, ioniser, airconditioner etc THAT is overkill but a possibility. A 100-200 dollar store bought air conditioner BUT that will most likely introduce too much moisture in the air...
There are a few things I could do but will no doubt begin to introduce problems like humidity and dreaded mould.
*sigh*
This is why I love this 'game' so many puzzles!!
EDIT: Otto, your post grew!! Hopefully these babies do the same regardless of temps.
I have been investigating as we speak some sort of cooling/natural fan solution using the 'wonderful'science of thermal dynamics, call me a hippy but I am a fan of nature/organic solutions.
Yes, It is an Outdoors tent, kinda confusing if you think about it too hard, COULD be the Bubblegum I am smoking though.
The part of Aus I am in is VERY weird. Massive floods in summer ( HUMID HUMID HUMID ) last 2 years we have had serious floods that have had my friends in the US calling me to make sure I was ok. The heat gets to 40c ( 105 F ) in the day and about 15c ( 59 f ) during the night. That is of course if mother nature could be bothered. During our end of winter almost spring we saw some pretty warm temps.
here is some statistical data for a nearby area, not exact, security and all, but close enough that it provides an insight to what I fight.
