New Grower First Grow AK49 Auto! HO T5/Coco Coir

Hi everyone, glad to be apart of this community. I decided to start my first grow with a freebie (Vision seeds AK 49 auto). Here is my setup!

Space: 3x3x5 tent

Light: Veg- I have a 2ft 8bulb HO T5 (192w) hung horizontally and a 2ft 4 bulb HO T5 (96w) hung vertically. Flower- I have a 250w hps but I also have bulbs to flower with the t5s so I'm still undecided which to use or both?

Medium: Coco coir/perlite 3gal smart pot.

Nutrients: Cns17 grow/bloom, I also have calmag+ and great white. I might switch to maxibloom as I've read great things about how simple it is and I picked up a couple pounds of it cheap.

Ventilation: This is where I need some help! I have a s & p td-150s but haven't set it up yet as I'm not sure what filter to get? If anyone can help that would be great! I do have a clip on fan inside the tent moving air and strengthening the plant!

Planted the seed straight into the 3 gal smart pot on 1/19/2014 and it sprouted on 1/23/2014.

Hey samsquanch, congrats on the beautiful looking lady. I don't run filters in my tent so I can't really recommend anything to you from previous experience. I will say you have another month or so to make up your mind. She won't start smelling until midway through flowering so take your time and get one that you will be happy with. In a 3x3x5 you shouldn't need anything too big. The biggest thing to keep in mind is to get a filer that is sized for your fan. If your fan puts out say 150CFM make sure you get a filter that is rated for at least 150, I would go higher like 250-300. It will last longer and you won't have to worry about the fan pushing too much air through your filter and not getting the smells out. From what I have read, Phresh makes some awesome filters but they are pricey.

You need definitely 1, she is EXTREMELY SMELLY,
They grow tall as well....

I did 10 of them 1 shot (in my album if you need to compare), super delicious, super easy growing, very strong smell

looking good I got one going also mine is 11 days in DWC using floraduo,calmag,rapidroot.under 4ft 4 bulb and in a 5x5x7 tent. also got a dark devil and waiting for mu other seeds to come in to fill my tent
