New Grower First Grow- Autobubble

Okay brilliant I'll order one tomorrow, it definately makes sense to get a decent one straight up. Hopefully it will last me :) As for temperatures, I can get another fan on them tomorrow which should help a bit. Im very interested in co2 systems though. Ive heard you can make one with hydrochloric acid and marble chips but I think id be more likely to buy a generater.

Do you really think they can help?

Hey guys!
Quick update. Unfortunately one of the seeds didn't make it. Today was 7 days so I had a little dig down and found the taproot all tied up in a knot and looking pretty dead so I'm down to 3. They are all looking good, and all pretty much identical. I am experimenting with ice bottles to keep temperatures down and it seems to be working, bringing temps down to 27-28. Need to save up some more milk bottles haha! No need for water yet, and lights are still running 24/0.

Cant wait until they are out of the seeding phase! Im not cut out for stress :)

Hey man . I'm subbed up and I wish you a fantastic grow. Like the friendly folks say before, if you wounder about something or need some help there will always be someone to give you a hand. Make those small girls into some beautiful fat ladies :) have a fantastic day!

Cheers Tdam, good to have you onboard :)
Time for a little update, 6 days since they popped. All 3 looking good, nice dark green leaves and growth seems to be speeding up. Still battling with ice bottles trying to keep temps down. I dont have enough milk bottles yet so its extra difficult haha! Still no need for water since the original soaking but the soil has a nice inch or so of crust so it wont be long. This is the prettiest of them, the other 2 have slightly deformed leaves. Oh and on a side note my ph pen came today. :)

Update time! 9 days since they popped now, gave them their first watering yesterday with 1ml/l root juice. Temps are nicely under control thanks to lots of ice bottles and the stronger looking 2 are just growing their 3rd set of leaves.

However I am slightly worried about one thats looking a bit gnarly and deformed. Ive heard its normal for the first few sets of leaves to look a bit weird but this might be a bit much haha! Looking healthy otherwise, anyone seen anything like this before?

Lmao!!! It's true they feel like they have to overcompensate... :roflcry:

I m no expert but it looks like a genetic funk, kids are born with tails, extra digits, extra nipples.... let it ride. There is no other signs of actual issues, i know you said its hot but none of the sapplings are exhibiting signs of stress. If you put the fan at ground level and aim it up towards the heat source (that light is looking like the culprit) it should run a couple degrees cooler. I had to do this with mine it worked very well.Otherwise I think you look great. Strength and Honor
