Day 15 Report
Alright guys it's day 15 and ever since i moved indoor, the grow speed is increasing.
I have been watering the pot till run off and then judging by the weight of the pot and feeling the top soil to see if it's dry before i water again.
I have a few questions and hopefully they get answered :
1 - My plants are 2.4 inches away from the lights, i placed the back of my hand below the light and it feels warm but not burning so i think it's okay but just to make sure, can you guys tell me if it's too near ?
2 - When do you think i should start LST, it seems too small to LST now or should i just let it grow naturally ? Should i even LST or just let it grow naturally because i have only just 2 lights at the top that's why i'm worried when it gets bigger the lower buds won't get any light.
3 - Most of the time i'm leaving my closet 1/3 open, do you think it's enough or should i have it open like 1/2 ?
4 - Since i'm doing a 18/6 cycle, the lights go off at 12pm and starts at 6pm but the fan runs 24hour. Should i close the closet when the lights are off so that sunlight from my window wouldn't get in or can i just leave it ?
5 - I bought a Liquid Fertilizer Concentrate and it's NPK value is 6-10-4 so i was wondering when i should start giving it nutes and also if i have a 1.5l bottle, how much do i put ? When feeding do i water it with the diluted solution till run off ? Should i put water first into the bottle or the fertilizer concentrate first then water ?
6 - Can you guys check out the pictures and see if there is any problems with my plant ? Any heatstress, deficiency, under/over watering issues or maybe stunted growth ?

I'll try to get to your questions when I get a chance. One thing I noticed is that if you can get the lights horizontal somehow would be better. Most of the lumen output is from the sides of a CFL.

1. I would back the lights off to at least 4-6 inches from the plant (unless you are going to leave them vertical) until it gets into flowering.
2. LST can be tricky if you don't know what to expect and this is your first grow. If I were you, let it grow naturally this round then buy some cfl reflectors with clamps and clamp them to the side of the pot or something with some small cfl lights to hit the bottom buds later on. 3. Leave it open as much as possible if you can or don't have security/smell issues
4. Don't think it will matter much either way
5. those are bloom nutes. Add those when vertical growth stops (usually around week 6). You need veg nutes right now with high N content. Something like 3-1-1
6. Plant does look a bit small for its age. Could be lack of light when on the balcony or overwatering. I still don't like water-retention soil. It looks healthy though to me, just growing a bit slow imo. It should take off here soon. It's still in the seedling stage. I would get a hygrometer and stick it there so you can get some temp and humidity readings. I have this one http://www.walmart.com/ip/AcuRite-Digital-Humidity-and-Temperature-Monitor/16888914

You are the only one that is answering my questions and honestly, it helps a lot !
1 - I am probably gonna just leave it vertically because i don't have anything to hold it up horizontally as it is hanging down being held by the wires.
2 - Okay so i guess i'm just gonna let it grow naturally unless it gets really big which i don't think it will but maybe i will lst. i might get some smaller cfl lights for the smaller buds, more updates will come for sure.

I know it's tough with so many threads around and people needing help but some answers would be nice, when my questions are hanging like that i get really worried

And also i was wondering since my time cycle is 18/6 from 6pm to 12pm when it's having it's dark cycle, there will be sunlight coming in from the window so i guess there will be light leak and it is not completely dark, do you think it's okay ? I can't close my closet because of ventilation and also the wire is in between the flap doors.
