New Grower First Grow: Dinafem White Widow Auto

HI untaivied, I'm sure more experienced members will chime in, but the first pic looks like some nute splash, and the 2nd pic could be the start of a cal/Mg deficiency- very early though. I see that you just started cal mag- what brand/type are you using? And, at what strength? My first Dinafem WW autos got that way, and being clueless about coco and LED being hard on cal mag uptake (totally my fault for spacing all the advice from folks on these forums), it got pretty bad. Ive got a 2nd grow of the same seeds, and not a spot into week 6! Best of luck!

The nute splash makes sense becasue its only on the one leaf. Im using Botanicare Cal-mag Plus. I did 1 tsp which was full strength given its into week 5.

Also, do you have a soil pH tester? I found my first bag of FFOF had a moist/bucket pH of less than 6.0, but the 2nd bag stays stable at 6.7 pH. If your soil pH is out of whack, it can lock out calcium and magnesium even though you're supplementing. If you don't have a soil tester, you can pH test the ingoing nute juice, and then test the runoff. Those 2 readings will tell a tale.

Yeah i do have a pH meter. and my bag of FFOF is out of whack. I just watered with water pH'd to 6.8. and my run off was 6.0 on WW1 and 6.2 on WW2.

Update Day 35

Hey AFN! Today is day 35 and i'm starting to run into my first issues. I believe that one is the start of a cal mag deficiency but i also just started using cal mag so hopefully after this feeding it'll start to turn around. I posted a few pictures a page back of the issues so if anyone else wants to chime in please do so(i'll also post here as well). Other than that WW2 is healthy and the rest of WW1 look great. Just watered today with cal-mag. I watered with 6.8 ph'd water and the run off was 6.0 on WW1 and 6.2 on WW2. Temps and RH are all in check.

Thanks again for any and all help

Also, Are they a little stunted because at day 35 one is 16" and the other is 10". Being my first grow im not really sure where they should be.

thanks

I'm not sure what the deficiency is, but don't worry much about the variations is size, it's normal to have variations. The shorter one might be slower all the way to the end. It's normal to have two "phenotypes" or sometimes three, among plants from the same seed batch. Like with hybrids, you could see some more sativa type plants which may be taller and thinner with thinner pointy leaves, and some indica type plants which may be shorter and fatter with wider chunky leaves. :) Just the way of genetic proportions and probabilities :)

My question was based more on where they should be along in the grow, i get that there more than likely going to be different. Im just asking because this is my first grow if they are where they should be or are they behind because i feel like there not as big as they should be at this point.

Your grow is still looking amazing. Question how do you like those air pots. I just put in a order for two. Sorry to ask a off the topic question.

So far I do like the air pot. But also it is the only one i've used so i dont have much to compare too. The only thing that I would have to say negatively about it is when you first start watering some water runs out of the holes and makes a mess. But other than that i think its doing what its meant to do.

Problem!

So the issue ive had for a few days now is getting worse. Not really sure what to do. Some said it was a cal/mag deficiency and i just started feeding cal/mag so if it is that how long should it clear up in? Im going to post a few more pictures of whats going on. The smaller WW looks great and theres no spots on her.

The first two pictures i just took and the next two pictures i took yesterday mourning.

Any help is appreciated!
