A few of my fan leaves are curling from center down may like 3 of them and i was wondering if this is cause for concern. Light veg nutes under 300 watt mars hydro led 5 gallon pot water phd to 6.5 to 6.8

Hi @drock1287 ,

The leaf tips clawing down like that is a sure sign of over fertilisation with Nitrogen. Are the leaves that are affected a very dark shade of green under normal lighting? My advice would be to back off on your grow nutes ever so slightly until the new growth from the top of the plant is normal again.

Was just dealing with this as well. We decided last night to do a flush this time with just some sugar daddy. Hoping she snaps out of it as she's flowering but nonetheless she still looks great. Will the leaves straighten back out when all is corrected? or is the only way to tell is through any new growth that occurs?(which obviously I don't really expect since she's flowering)

:smoking: Grim has got ya covered mate! I agree, and those deep green leaves are a common indication of N toxicty starting,... N tox is insideous sometimes... you see, N is one of the nute' elements the plant takes up whether it needs it or not, they're just hardwired that way by nature,... and they store the excess, for which there is a limited capacity... it build up and builds up, until it reaches the level of toxicity symptoms showing! What nute's are you using?-- NPK#'s? The 5gal pot will also become a reservoir that the roots tap deeper into as she grows, increasing uptake from N not absorbed earlier from previous feedings,... I agree with Grim, no nutes for a bit, timing of resumption pending the info about them,...

Update still a bit of n tox but seems to be doing fine.
