New Grower First grow ever, any thoughts?!

Hi everyone.

Just started growing! These are my first two plants!

The one on the left is my auto Anthesia (can't spell it!) and the one on the right is a normal plant (can't remember the strain sorry!).

They are both 4 weeks and 2 days old and my auto stands at 27/28 cm!

How does everyone think I'm doing?! Any thoughts or tips?

I am growing on a blue cfl 250w, john ins potting and cuttings soil and have started experimenting with the normal one trying ace of buds with it.

Thinking of swotching to 12/12 tonight as I can only go another foot high!!!

Hey bud welcome to the family. I would recommend going to 20 hours of light or at least 18 if you want more yield.

i agree with CGR on this one. First lady looks a bit hungry. you see the fading on the bottom leafs. other then that she looks great, (and i saw you where on top of it, adding N )

if i get you right you got one photo and one auto strain?

you got any posibilities to run the auto for 20 h and maybe take the photo out those 8 extra hours? :High 5:

you got any more light for flowering stage? im no cfl expert, but i overheard someone talking about they like those white specs in flower stage

How to stop upwards growth?!

Hi all!

I have a box I made currently growing 2 plants. I only have enough space for them to grow to 2 feet and one of them is already at a foot any growing at just under an inch a day!!!

Is there anything I can do?!

It's an auto anthesia and looks nice at the mo but would prefer it to grow outwards instead of upwards as I heard on photos when you switch the light cycle to 12/12, they at least double In height!

I'm at week 4 and half at the mo and can only afford for it to grow just under another foot.

Also! I have the nute, ace of buds. When do you think I should start using that? Like I said its 4 and half weeks now and where the pistols grow it's starting to get bigger.

Ace of Buds -start to use at 4 weeks?

Hi!

My auto is at 4 weeks and 3 days and I have some ace of buds made up. I have a 2 liter bottle with about 10-15ml of AOB in there.

I'm scared to use it just incase I kill my plant! (First time grower!)

Any idea on how much I should use, when to water with the nutes and just normal water etc etc?

You need to really do a google search and a site search on lst. It stands for low stress training... It's basically when you take a wire or string and pull the branch down without breaking it ... Best to do when the plants are very thirsty as they will have more bend to them and less chance of breaking. You could also stop vertical growth some by starting bloom nutes .... Though can not tell you much about ace of buds as I never heard of it. I can tell you that you don't want to be topping (cutting the plant so it's lower ) as autos don't have as long as a photo to "correct" it self.... Wishing you the best of luck And post some pics...
