New Grower First grow ever - jack herer auto

Hey everyone! She's 5 weeks old tonight, but she just grew another inch to be 14 tall. Should I wait until it stops vertical growth for a week before I do bloom nutes or just start now? I think she's gonna take more than 2 months so I'm leaning toward seeing how tall she'll grow first. Let me know!

I read the thread sticky about the life cycle of autos and it says to keep veg nute until week 7. So I guess I'll just observe for another week and see if it keeps getting taller. If not I'll switch to bloom nutes. Either way at least it's getting nutrients. I'll post more pics soon. Some of the very under leaves are dying off but that's natural for any plant. She's so bushy she doesn't get light to them anymore, haha.

Hey everybody, here she is again, few days shy of 6 weeks old. She's just over 15 inches tall. I'm worried she's not tall enough, but it may just be her or because I'm using CFLs, what do you think? Also wanted to know how much you think I'll get off her if she stays on course. On the very top leaves there's just a tiny bit of resin it looks like. Gonna switch to bloom nutes and unsulphered molasses for the waterings. She just got watered and I may have gone a little overboard this time. Usually she takes like a liter or a little bit more of water every other day since it's pretty dry here, gave her about a liter and a half. But yeah, she's just not getting tall like a lot of them I see, I'm probably worrying for nothing but I wanted some input on this stuff. So let me know please! :)

Yes change to bloom. You will see more growth.
its small because small pot and small light.

Big pot and big lights = big flowers.

Looks like your over/under watering and/or way to warm. Could also be to much N. Leaves should not sag that much.
Give her bloom and watch the change. You will see the resin.

I would say thats a 2 gal pot and your lights maybe 1 ounce 28 grams dry. You would be lucky.
Look for more around 14 grams dry.

Thanks Hank! I really appreciate the input. I read Royal Queen description and 15 inches is the minimum on height so at least I'm in the zone, turns out it's a pretty small breed. I don't have the ability to have a fancy set up so I'll just do with what I've got. If I got an ounce I would be happy. I don't expect much more than that without using HPS and I can't do a cooling/exhaust setup. It's a 3gal pot I'm pretty sure that's what it was when I bought it anyway. It does get a little warm in there but not too bad. I don't know how I'll be able to grow during the summer. I may just make a makeshift one in the room instead of the closet, it gets hot and humid. She always perks back up the day after watering so I'll try to take it back to maybe 3/4 liter and see how that does. Next watering is with molasses and then I'll start the bloom, so maybe I'll get lucky and get a good amount out of it. She does have some resin near the flowers so that's a good sign. It's all about learning the first time and it's still cheaper than buying haha. I really do appreciate you taking the time and helping a newbie. :) I'll continue to post and keep it updating.

PH needs to be at 6.5 if not it will go to shit at around week 5 or so.
ask me how I know.

Was happening to me too, lost a lot of plants, my PH was waaaay too low. Always week 5!

I read the thread sticky about the life cycle of autos and it says to keep veg nute until week 7..

I use Bio-Bizz soil and nutes. Their nutrient schedule says to feed 1ml Bio-grow per litre of water until the end, with Bio-Bloom starting at week 3. I'm going to stop with Grow around week 8 though, so it can finish up. Hopefully this will work.

Leaves were still a little curled so I flushed her until she ran off a lighter yellow, about two gallons of water. I'm going to just give her water and molasses for the rest of the week then start a half dose of bloom nutes. :)

She's got a couple dark pistils already. Is this normal for this young? Almost 7 weeks old.
