New Grower First grow ever! Northern lights AF

Oh ok cool, just checking about the filter. If your intake is pulling from inside the shed(assuming you changed it back to inside the shed since you have the AC now) then the ambient temps of the shed from the AC should keep you just fine. :D

Awesome about your third set! :smokebuds:

See that's what I was wondering. Should I change my intake to the ac air or use the outside air still?? The air from outside will be warmer. I was gonna put my ac on a timer so it was only running when the sun was up. The night temps get to a decent temp.

If you continued running intake from the outside, your AC wouldn't do any good. It needs to be pulled in from the inside of the now AC shed, see what I mean?. :D Timer dealio sounds good, just watch the temps. Most gauges have a min and max reading you can check when you come in to check on them.

And obviously on cooler days, you can cut it down or off to save on power. You'll get the feel for what ambient/outside temps are good for the shed and tent. :D

Ok got the AC in the shed keeps it about 79-80 during Hot times peak day, Which is my lights out time. Overall i've mixed a little more nutes with the last feeding and the girls are loving the 6.5 ph'd water!! Nice growth from them in the last few days. They are also starting to good a smell to them. :) . Finally had to put the carbon filter on casue it was starting to smell like some one was smoking in the shed :)
Here is a little pic of the bigger of the 3

HELP!!!!!
So i usually just check on my girls every day, usually twice a day and this morning i noticed that some of the fan leaves were drooping. I read that i could be from over watering and it leads me to believe that as ijust watered them 2 nights ago. Ill give you a run down of the water stats. Its well water PH'd to 6.3. 335ish PPM from tap. mixed GH grow nutes @ 1/2 of the small cap full. Brought PPM to 550ish. Ive feed them like this before with now problems. Here is a before and after picture. Hope someone can help. ALSO we just got a cold front and temps dropped from 78/84 to 68/72 in tent L/H.

First pic goes 1,3,2 second goes 1,2,3 as far as plants goes. Third pic is plant 3, the tallest but less bushy of the 3 and it was hit the worst. Thanks for the help!!

EDIT: Forgot to mention i split a gallon of water between the 3 of them!

That is to much water at once for them at this stage imo.:( Don't give them any water for 1 more day or mybe 2 and let them catch some breath before next watering.Give them less watter for the first few weeks.Be sure that youe girls will show you when they need watering.;)

Thanks!!! I figured that was the problem. It had been about 4-5 days since i watered them last and they felt kinda light ( I have been hitting the gym so everything is starting to feel lighter :P ) I have a probe style soil moisture tester and they werent completly dry at the bottom. Probably could have waited a day or so. Thanks for the fast reply, anything i can do in the meantime to help them out?

So the ladys are starting to perk back up slowly but Ive got a few more questions..
1) My medium starts about 4-5" below the top of my pot and some of the leaves are starting to hit the side. Can/should i trim the leaves so they are not hitting or just leave them and let them come over eventually?
2) How will i know when my plants are entering flower? Ive looked around but is there any real way to tell when i need to switch the light?
3) 2 plants are kinda short and bushy and one is tall (all the same type) is this an issue?
Thanks for any help guys :)

Yo. :smokebuds:

The soil level thing happens to a lot of people I see until you get used to it. When you initially fill your pot you gotta kinda push it down some, not pack it in there solid, but just tighter than just pouring it in. I usually tap my Airpot on the ground or wherever I am filling a couple times as I go along. For now you can just leave those leaves. They'll probably die off anyway from getting nute feed on them and very little light, so I would just let them roll.

You'll see what looks like tiny white hairs pop out of the nodes, generally the top one first. That is showing sex basically, then it will continue to throw out these pistols all over at all the nodes and bud sites, this is pre-flower, and that just progresses to full flower after a few weeks, give or take. I don't use HPS/MH, but I don't believe there is a set time to switch really. Somewhere shortly after pre flowering I would think. :D

You'll encounter various phenotypes from one strain. Totally normal, and looks like you got three of em. One bushy, one with a main stalk and little side branching as of now, and then the tall one. :D

Take care, Calv. :smokebuds:
