600w Ballast, Mh and Hps bulb w/ wing reflector
18 gallon DWC resevoir
15 gallons to fill line
4- net pots
Hydroton
dual outlet hobbyist air pump w/ equal length lines

FLORA SERIES Performance Pack

Water Ph between 5.5 - 6.0

FLOWERS- (Auto Seeds) Purple Cheese Fem.

I I soaked Grodan starter cubes in 1gal ph water with 1ml. RapidStart.i was told to keep them in a plastic zip-lock bag with a 1/4 inch opening to build humidity and allow airlfow. Seeds sprouted in 4 days with this method. The sprouts are about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch tall now and are showing first TRUE leaves. WHEN should i plant them into my DWC system. A single small root is just now coming thru the bottom of each cube. What tips should i follow on first feeding additives in my system? Should it just be ph water for the first week? Should i leave them in the bags for longer or transplant now? My temp is hard to control it remains around 76- 81and humidity is low between 16 and 20 in the space.just need enough help to get them thru these first stages.

Welcome to the family CC

I am no expert with dwc, but I am sure someone will be along shortly to help you out.

For now I would suggest that you plant them into your dwc system as soon as the roots are visible on the outside of the cubes.

For the early stages I would avoid nutrients, but a root stimulator will help you get off to a great start.

So I would suggest that you plant in your dwc system now and feed them on ph'ed water and root stimulator for a week.

If you swing by the introduction section and say hello you will get a warm welcome and are guaranteed to make some good contacts.

I'm doing DWC also in 18 gal. totes. You want your seedling to have enough root to extend a bit out the bottom of the net pot, and enough stem height that you can bury the rockwool cube and still have 3/4" or more of stem above the hydroton. You can see mine here: https://www.autoflower.org/f24/northern-lights-photo-grow-30089.html I'm using 6 5" net pots for the Northern Lights photos. I have another res with one 10" net pot with 2 White Widow Autos in it. I'm new at this too, but I've put a lot of effort into learning all I can, and people here are great when you need help! Here's my WW: https://www.autoflower.org/f44/first-grow-journey-learning-hope-28341.html

Good luck and grow trees!

Your humidity 16-20% is far too low. You're going to need to find a way to up that humidity pronto if you want those seedlings to survive and thrive. With out that there's really no point in me giving you any other advice :) Also I would give them a very low dose of nutes during the first week about 0.4 EC.

Peace

He's right! I missed that part. Even hanging a wet towel in the room will raise your humidity. Its a quick fix at least

If you buy a humdifier as I have in the past don't make the same mistake I did. You want a humidifier that ideally will run 24 hours and that you can hook up to a humdistat which will turn it on and off. Or buy one that runs 24 hours with a humidistat built in.

Lots of humidifiers out there are for asthma etc and are only programmable to run for 1 hour, 2 hours or 4 hours then they switch off.
