Ranitomeya Imitator "Varadero"

So these little guys are Ranitomeya Imitators "Varadero." They are really fun to watch and are very cool, They are only about the size of your thumbnail, lol. These are frogs that I set up for my mother because she loved mine so much haha so basically now that I sold mine she asked if I wanted these back and I was happy to take them. Right now I have a much much smaller cage for them, it is a cube aquarium that I am making into a terrarium for them so I will update you guys when it is done and they are moved in!

Hey guys, I just gave the girls a feeding of grow and calmag this morning, however I totally forgot to ph the water beforehand :0 Now I'm kickin myself in the a** wondering if they will be alright. I put the nutes in last night in some tap water that had sat overnight and was also aerated. (I like to aerate my feed and regular water) So did I totally screw up and the nutes are going to get locked out? My tap comes out at 7.0

@MJA great journal, great vibe! Looking forward to updates pics on the ladies, the frogs are cute. I think one watering of the ph being a bit off will be completely fine, soil tends to buffer it self to a degree… Just be sure to check next watering… Don't sweat.. I can feel the love you have for your plants so I am sure they will love you back :)

@wwwillle…. 10 yrs?!?!? :crying:  :crying: you are going to be SO HIGH!!!!! we all understand stoned ramblings on AFN, what can a canna forum expect from a bunch of friendly stoned pot heads :)

THANK YOU, Yodabuds as I have been worrying all damn day, lol. I thought there was a chance the soil would be a good enough buffer that they would be okay, but I am just such a newb that I wanted to be sure haha. I will post up new pics on Monday so that we can all see the growth that has taken place, haha I like to see weekly changes in my pics, it is a lot of fun.

Thanks again Yoda!

End of Week 5--Beginning of Week 6

Alright here are the girls! It seems as though I have two slightly different phenos. one looks to be taller and skinnier and the other is a bit shorter and more robust. Interesting! Everything seems to be going well, besides trying to treat that calmag deficiency, I think I got that covered though! Every day I can easily see a difference in size still so I haven't switched to bloom nutes yet.

You can see the main stem on the taller one filling in with little popcorns everywhere, it's very exciting!!

Hey MJA, I would never know this was your first grow brother. I feel the same way you do, I LOVE GROWING plants of all types, but Cannabis can be especially challenging, which makes it all the more enjoyable.

Very well done :slap:

:peace:

Yeah, I concur with Stick! ...Nice work MJA

Oh yeah!!! Only four days to go, the excitement is palpable. I'll be sure to start something up in the lounge. That is if I can still see and be able to type without drooling all over the keyboard.

MJA looking fine! Can't wait to see more!!

Thanks guys ;) I just watered em today with some ph water and let it run out the bottom to get some of those salts outa there. I think I should be very very close to using bloom nutes. I am starting to think the taller one is done growing upward, the shorter one is catching up! So soon I am sure we will see them getting a little thicker, also, I noticed some leaves getting sugary... Such excitement everyday in that tent!

Hey Willie you have any idea of what you're going to do with the trim off your plants when they are done?
