I wouldn't put those Ona blocks in the tent around the plants. Some folks do, but I don't want the chemicals emitting out on the plants. Might not hurt em, might just be me, but that's my suggestion.

I'm surprised she's staying so tight really. Maybe hop that light up just an inch or two to see if she'll reach. :smokebuds:

Hey Squid.
Won't be putting ona block in the cab as you and wg have both said not too(thats enough).I've just moved the light up from 5inches to 8inches from the top of the plant and also measured the plant from soil to top and she is just under 10inches tall. Will report back on this one tomorrow. Is it not a good thing that she's staying tight?

Just thought i would share a couple of images as its bin a far few hours since i raised the light and watered her. I have fed her 4liters of tap water filter threw a brita filter, the final PH after adding everything come in at 6.5ph containing 8ml of BioBizz Root juice and 2ml of BB Bio-Grow. 2hours to till lights off so lets see how she reacts to the feed. Will update with pics sometime tomorrow.

Day 24. Gained an inch in height so have moved the light bk up to 8inches again. Think she's loving the feed.

Yes sir, those are pistils! Day 25 sex.. that girl is going to be a MONSTER. Have you read up on LST any since you're running a single 200W bulb? See how she's reaching up towards the light like that? Yeah, she's really really loving the feed. She should be hitting a burst here in the next week or so, lookin' real good man. Glad you didn't use the ONA blocks, I really don't dig having that much chemical in the air around my plants.. hell, just using the Hot Shot No Pest Strips like I do I get scared.. and I only use them for 4 days at a time and only if I have a real bad gnat problem. Since I swapped mediums though, no issues at all with gnats. She's looking real healthy and green. I can't tell though, is it the lighting or is there a patchy light green/brown texture coming in on the leaves? Did we talk about you getting a CalMag supplement? I know Bio-Bloom has some cal/mag in it.. hmm.. Can you inbox me your water company and your postal code or post a water report here?

Sent you a pm WG containing water supplier info and postcode.

I have read up abit about LST'ing but i was scared to cause any damage to my 1st plant. The only LST i was going to incorporate was to pull the branches in closer to the stem and try to get them to grow upwards rather than outwards towards the walls.

i believe we spoke about getting cal/mag supplement or they were mentioned but I'm yet to go into town and pick some up. does epsom salt cover cal and mag?

About that green/brown texture.
I think it's safe to say that it's the lighting giving it that look but to get ya 2cents on that i have took her out the cab and taken pictures of her under natural sun light.

DAY 27. will post pics once i attempt the lst of the branches.

No, you're right - she looks great. I don't think you'll need the epsom salts, the water report for your water shows it's rather hard.. it has a high content of calcium and maganese. She looks beautiful under regular light brother. I donno if you'd want her to grow straight upwards as opposed to bush out.. you want the light on those inner nodes so your buds beneath or inside the leaves don't become like thin sprigs.

Epsom Salts only cover magnesium, which there is a very small chance you'll need during flower if she's a heavy mag eater.. but from what I've seen on TD, they're normal mag eaters.. either way if it's something you can get in a pinch, we'll just keep an eye out for it.

Honestly the vertical growth is amazing - I think you're doing perfect @ 8 inches off the top. Her node spacing in that shot is impressive. You don't want her to continue to grow vertically only because the light penetration of a CFL is not as great as an HID so you want the branches to be kind of out.. I understand the fear of breaking something and only running one plant - I'd say don't do it. If you're worried it'll cause issue, don't do it. Safe is better than sorry with one plant and you're 27 days in. Was definitely just the lighting shot that gave the scale effect. Beautiful plant brother!

I went and had ago at some LST and what do you know... I broke her lol but do not worry as we are only down one cola(is that right?) as it wasn't the main stem. I've tried to fix her so we shall if it takes. I think she will still reward me. I just can't believe i broke her(Well i can actually. i sort of jinxed myself).
