Bummer!....it happens though so it's not the end of the world.

I always use both hands when bending a branch....I use one to hold and brace the join to the central stem and bend slightly and repeatedly further along the branch with the other...
sometimes if the stem seems too thick or strong I will squeeze the branch to weaken a small area so it bends and is pliable...if one clamps too strongly and squishes the branch, it will recover...when I have a really tough or thick branch that I feel I HAVE to crimp, I use a pair of 45* angle needle-nosed pliers. [my hand strength and control is weakened by MS]
Using the pliers allows me to crimp a thick or strong branch...they recover soon enough {I am talking of regular photoperiodic plants, NOT autoflowering plants....I do not recommend doing this to AF plants, just lightly bending the branches, NOT crimping them} crimping a branch by hand is is easy when the branch is crisp like celery...it is much harder when the branch gets woody.

Bonsai wire might be useful for bending a branch and keeping it where you want it....I have experimented with thick heavy solder wire....it works, but needs to be put on young branches and must be re-bent evert day or two...but it works....give me a holler if the solderwire method appeals to you and I will explain my experiences with it if you want.

IMHO ,I think your little girl is still beautiful. I do understand your frustration though. Good grow Karma to ya.

Aww man, sad to see you broke a branch. I'm the biggest noob in the world, so I have no idea what the prognosis is, but I wish you the best and hope she bounces back.

I'd cut my losses and remove that stem instead of letting her put energy into healing. Consider it uhmm... HST! High stress training! I kinda felt that was going to happen, something just told me it would because of how nervous you were... That'll slow down her vertical growth anyways though.

Nothing wrong with a woman missing an arm, she can still be very attractive! :brow:

My thoughts exactly, if the branch is removed completely and she doesn't need to worry about healing it, she should still reward you very handsomely. Good luck with the grow Paronic, she's looking good!

You made me crack up lol. Yeah I sort of saw it coming myself but hey it wouldn't be right if i didn't fuck some thing up on my first grow lol. I really don't think it will fix itself. My question is how should i go about removing the stem?(will get a pic off that soon and add too very end of post. for now here is a pic of the not so looking good bodge it job)

On the other hand though, its not scared me from pulling my plant down some more since i last posted and I have tried to make an even canopy and will continue to try and maintain it.

Scissors and isopropyl alcohol. Clean the scissors very thoroughly, let them air dry in your hand, then get as close to the main stalk as you can and snip 'er off. I like the training job though brother, after you snap one branch you get a good idea of how far you can tug the others. The first time I LST'd I snapped a branch.. hell, I still snap them on occasion.. but it's usually really small ones that I'm trying to manipulate way out of line. She looks REALLY good spread out. And no, that's not a sexual innuendo!

Nice LST job, dude. Looking good and I bet that will help a lot for coverage. :D

Just a little update and a question.

Lets get the question out the way 1st.
I will be watering her again tomorrow and was wondering how i much i should increase the root juice and bio-grow dose?
Last feed i gave her 8ml of BioBizz Root juice and 2ml of BB Bio-Grow to 4liters of water.

Now for the update. Day28
I have removed the stem with a nice clean cut using a sterilized Stanley blade.

Some pics of her since the LST. She looks much better than last night.

Edit- I have not done one bit of foliage spraying/misting to the plant since day1. Should i be?

Nice work. Foliar sprays aren't necessary. If you aren't seeing any signs of burns, you can increase by 1/4 and see how she likes it. :D
