New Grower First Grow Journal- Northern Light Auto

Hey guys! This is my first grow and I'll be growing Northern Light Auto using CFLs. I planted the germinated seed four days ago. Right now it's in a large of Happy Frog soil, and under one 55 watt CFL, which gives off 3,600 Lumens. I have two other 55 watt bulbs too, but I'm not using them yet. Here is a picture of my set up and a picture of the plant that I took this morning! I'd appreciate any feedback! Thanks guys

Yes I am really a girl!
the room is already fairly small, but I plan to close it off some more, without using an actual grow box. The room itself is about three feet by 4 feet, just a small closet.
i haven't started nutes yet, but I'm planning on using the Fox Farm series.

Does it affect the plants of the bulbs are 6500k or 2700k? I have three of these bulbs that I'm using now, they're all 55watt and 2700K. Will it harm my plant if I use these through the whole grow?
My runoff pH is around 6.4 and temperature is around 73 degrees!

And yes I do have a fan! it's a small closet so the fan is on the other side, not in the picture!

an easy rule is 6500 for veg and 2700 for flowering, some people mix it up for the plant have a wider spectrum of color, however it wont hurt the plant, just using all 2700k bulbs for veg will give you slightly slower, less vegetative growth, less lushness plant.

Thanks for the tip! I'll add some 6500k bulbs today! I'm also going to set up a home made grow box today that'll hopefully be alittle better than just growing in the closet. I'll post pictures when it's done! I can't set up ventilation connected to outside because I don't have access to a vent, and also it's about 25 degrees F outside right now so bringing that in would be bad. Is leaving the grow box in the closet alright if I have fans pushing air in and out of the box?

Its alright , if u have enough air circulation your temps will be okay (no more than 80F). what kind of fans are you planning to use? looking forward to see the pictures :smoke:
