Had some N tox... gave a light feed. Was feeding into the 1000ppms... dropped back to 450ish.. recovered mostly.

Back to 900ish and they're sucking it all up! Water and ppms dropping...

Dirty girl is locked out and miniature and heading to flower the poor thing.

The main DWC ladies are looking not too bad though!

This is now day 41 since they we're popped into the dwc buckets...

Dropping about 150ppm/24 hours, PH pretty stable. 22°c water and air. Humid 45-65%... will look to control that one day!
480wQB 17" from the highest canopy, full power.

Looking good mate, you'll definitely get a decent smoke out of these!
Personally I would do a bit of defoliation at this point, maybe strip off about a 1/3 of the leaves to get some light penetration and airflow.

I've been trying to leave them alone as 1. It's my first grow and 2. They had a rough start with poor lighting and nutes all over the place. I've definitely been thinking about it now they are looking a bit healthier!

Definitely looking healthier with plenty of foliage now so I think you should be fine, just start off light and see how they recover but I reckon in a few days you wont even notice you took anything off, just dont go to mad as leaf growth slows right down a couple weeks into flower

Your water should definitely not look like that.
The only thing I can think of is unwashed clay pebbles. It is most definitely not the Great White.

Hello @mattskeee , sorry I'm coming into this thread late but Boradan is (was) 100% correct that brown sludge is from the clay pellets. It's a good idea to not only wash them thoroughly before putting them into the RDWC pots but also soak them in pH balanced water.

Hope you grow is on track, I'm busy reading the thread right now.

I personally start high and take off all the largest fans which have long stems and work my way down, just remember you can always take more later but you cant stick em back on!

Just got to your latest post mate and the DWC girls are looking waaaay better. Nice one. Apart from the base nutrients and pH up & down are you adding anything else to the mix?

Thanks dude! Yeah definitely some hurdles and steep learning to get through, but getting there!
