Whats up AFN. this is my second attempt eith this setup. The first time i got a male. This time they are auto fem.
:pass:
My tent is 2' by 2' by 5'.
I started the seed with the CFL's.
Now I'm using the 150w hps + supplimental CFL's
I have a fan at the bottom blowing cool air and an inline fan at the top with a speed regulator pulling hot air out.
I planted into a 2 or 3 gallon (not sure) 3 parts fox farm ocean forrest and 1 part perlite.
Ive only been feeding her water. She has shot her pistils and is beggining to reak.
Any advice on how i can stop stunting her and what im doing wrong is much apreciated. I think i had the lights a bit too close for the last few days. Anyways I will keep you all updated on how she turns out. Also the tap root for my second auto fem northern has shotten out and ill be planting her soon as well.:growing:

Definitly looks like heat stress from lights to close. You should start giving veg nutes at half dose at first then increase to full dose in a couple weeks. If you use chem nutes you need to ph your waterand you should also be using cal/mag.

I have the general organics Go Box. Ill be giving her her first feeding within the next few days. Thanks a lot for the advice.

...you got it mate, lights too close, and are roasting her! What happens is, the heat stress makes her close the stomata, to prevent further water loss (this can happen still, even if soil is moist.. it's the proximity to the lights.heat that's the issue)... this all but halt the flow of everything from roots up, so defc. symptoms can start manifesting (lower leaves) even if there's nute's available,... what's the RH in there, BTW?

Room humidity was higher but now about 50%
The temp has been very annoying to battle. Its usually around 78°-85° but I really need a intake fan and don't have one. Hopefully i will think of something. Shes coming back. I fed her for the first time tuesday. She seems to be responding well.

Shes surviving fairly. Just a bit stunted from all the stress factors. Hopefully i come by a better intake in the future. Ill have another update in about a week with a progress update.

How old is she?
I don't know for sure but id say 5 weeks is a good guess for the stage she's in right now. I just gave her he second feed yesterday. I didn't use half the nutes this time instead i used the amount in the directions. Shes doing alrtight temps have been a steady 82° with a 40% RH. Ill give you guys some more shots in a few weeks.
