View attachment 174353another newbi question i planted my seeds and have two babbies i noticed my soil level dropped as i didnt water my soil before i planted just a little where i was planting the seed in the middle is the level ok a the bottom of the last ring see pics
also have my light at 32 in right now 240 blackstar and have another 240 still on the way.should i lower it now and how much water should i give these now

You can add more soil later on once your babies grow up a bit.

I would leave your Blackstar up high for now and lower it as needed to try and keep your node spacing around 1" as the babies grow. Have a read through this thread: Blackstar The Manual

tks kindred have been reading that thread and so many more trying to take notes wanted to try and have a handle before they broke ground but tooooo much to know but still reading and everyone on here is very helpful thanks to all for the knowledge hopeto be in a position where i can answer some queestions at some point,but like any other experience knowledge comes with time and experience so babby steps here for now how about watering dont want to over water but now that they are under light should i water soil some or mist it

day 4

Hi all day 4 on these babbies i added a humidifier last night humidity was at 16 to 20
now running 30to 35 temps from 75 to 84 gave them 1 cup of water on day two
and i cup of water today also misting 2 to 3 times a day. had my lights at 32in
and dropped them to 18 in today.stems looked a little thin and streached to me but what do i know any comments or concerns i dont see that an experienced
eye can see from these pics i am all ears

I would add a little soil to support the leggy stem...I like to leave about an inch below the lip of the container, and add soil up to about .5 inches below the growth (cotyledon.)

As far as the lights, never ran LEDs so I'll let the informed speak to that...

day 6 heat

hi all day 6 added a humidifier and have brought the humidity up from 16 to mid 30s and 40s but i cant seem to get my temps under 80/86 except when my lights are out and then droping to 75 i have a 4in exhaust
165cfm and phat filter 200 cfm are these matched ok have an oscillating fan two 240 blackstars do i need to get the heat down and any suggestions on how.and does it make a difference that my filter is sitting on the floor and not up high??

I personally wouldn't get too worried about the lanky looking ones. it is very obvious now and seems like they are just going to fall over but in no time you won't be able to notice that inch or two that looks so crazy stretched now. As soon as she fattens up and more leaves are there you'll be looking at the top and sides and never even notice the stem anymore.

It does't look bad to me, but if you want, you could take a pencil and a wire bread tie, and twist the tie aound the pencil and leave like a horse shoe shape to cradle the little girl.......sort of a prop stick...

tks guys i added a little soil around the stems but i am more concerend about the temp than the stems averaging between 81 and 86 except when lights are off for 4 hours then drops to 72 to 75
