hey ladies and gents, about a month ago we found a near complete bc northern lights bloombox and a bunch of seed stock in a storage unit we bought at auction. once i decided i was gonna use it i spent alot of time trying to learn as much as i could before i started. i think ive already made some newbie mistakes!! i read the other night it isnt advisable to do multiple strains in one grow-makes sense since they will all possibly finish at different times. talk about being ambitious and believing variety is the spice of life, ive got 4 different ones going. looks like 3 strains have an average 10 weeks but 1 will take 12! this brings me to my question
i have 3 royal haze, 3-trans siberian, 1 northern lites and 1-hindu kush started about five days ago. ive noticed that even the seeds of the same strain are growing at different rates. two of the haze already are about 2" tall, one already has a 3" root coming out of the bottom of the rockwool, and one is just getting ready to poke over the top. same thing with the trans siberian. should i be looking to get these into the mesh pots as each individual rockwool cube shows good root development? or should i just wait till all the seeds from the same strains are ready and transplant them all at once? from what ive read i should be looking to transplant in about a week from the propigation dome but i think some are gonna be more ready than others. this box has 2 sides so keeping them split up wont be an issue this time i hope. plan to do the longest three on one side and the remaining five on the other. being our first attempt im not sure if ive even got a problem yet but i see potential for one so im looking for solutions before im in a bind. thanks for any and all help im sure well be needing more along the way
cheers
