first grow,problems with temp or to much water or led to low or.....?!!!

hi guys,i have a problem with temp in tent.during day its around 25 but when led turns off it goes down to 17-18.is this a problem?and can i put 60w normal bulb just to have more temp,and would that light make a problem to photo period?

Hi mate how about a little tube heater for the tent to come on when lights go off? Only 20 quid and does the job nicely.

Mind you what is 17/18 in real figures? I should know as I'm from UK lol. Mid 60s upwards at lights off should be OK and can bring out colouration in your buds.

Hi and thanks for welcome hippy and sorry for my bad english.yeap 17c is 62f so maybe that is not a problem.. sending some pics in 15 min,just to get something done,maybe i had some other issues,but they look stuned.

Everything looks good on your girls. Temp swing is in good range when dark temp is down to about 15 F lower than light on temp.

I run 300 watt LED, I start mine from emergence at 30 inches and let her grow up to within 24 inches. Then I keep her at 24 inches away until the stretch has stopped, then I drop down to 12 inches above the tallest ;part of the plant and keep it at 12 inches away until harvest. When your plant is in veg, the light a little further away promotes a good stretch.

I will do that defenitly. First auto and led grow so im a bit unsure,just need to relax probably. Tanks for the help.

My first grow (only on second now!) I had an LED. I think I had it too close and this possibly made my plants very short and dense. I think I had the light at around 18 inches away. I think I also over watered them though and cold wet roots wouldn't have helped them at all the poor things.

My second grow I have kept the light (now cobs) quite a bit higher to start them off in veg. My light is approx 18 inches from the two bigger older girls in my tent, which puts it around 36 inches from seedlings to start off. This seemed to work well for the first two in my second grow which are now much taller and more "airy" / spread out than my first lot.

I would try raising the light a bit mate although I think I just read that you already have
